Dawn

I had a Cat 7 (seven cats piled on me) at 3:00 in the morning. Loki is under the covers, lying across my hips. That’s where he likes to sleep on me. See the Kitty Key for an accounting of cats.

Wile E. Coyote hanging out with us on the levee.

Cranes at dusk

Daddy Owl and Mama Owl were hanging out together.

Another great cheese stand-off.

The Tangle Heart Tree and Wile E on the levee.

Not much color on the Sandias tonight.

    • I would suggest getting a kitten if you do. Adult kitties usually accept kittens. Thanks, Herman.

  1. You don’t get cold at night, that is for sure! Dawn was spectacular! And there might not have been much colour on the Sandias, but they were beautifully lit. Just a beautiful selection of photos, Tim.

  2. Nothing like a good pile of cats to stay warm! Dawn to dusk with with bosque and river residents is always a treat. You and Laurie have a wonderful environment down there. I enjoy your views of it.

  3. Your very own Cat Cafe. The early sky photos look like CGI from War of the Worlds or an Avengers movie.

  4. The “Magnificent Seven” rides again…at least in their dreams! The cheese stand-off picture…you can cut the tension with a knife, but the cheese looks like no knife is necessary.🧀

    • A coyote in Scotland would be a surprise. We have gray foxes in the bosque, but we rarely see them. Thanks, Cee Tee.

      • I’m getting to the finish line with the sequel. Have the end chapters done, and working on the Bad Guys Closing In, then, The All Is Lost. How Elizabeth falls apart, then deals with the tragedy; her physician husband volunteering in the Da Nang hospital, that has been bombed by the Vietcong. What could she possibly do as a civilian nurse with expert suturing skills? You guessed it. But, how does she get there? And what does she find when she does? 📚🎶 Christine

  5. 7 cats!!!!!!! I bet you don’t need a blanket! You’ve got a live one!
What a crop you share today! Wile E [love the fella!], mr and mrs Owl, Cranes, beautiful Sandias [I do see color!], Tangle Heart Tree waving Wile E goodbye, a beautiful afterglow and somewhere in between, a cheese stand-off! Wow!

    • That is a lot the way you recap it. I miss Wile E. the few days I don’t see him. Thanks, Marina.

  6. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
I’m sharing the cat coder and cheese stand off with a good friend/cat person tomorrow…and Norm of course. He knows all about the cheese stand offs at your place.
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  7. Not sure what the temperature scale is for Cats vs say a 3 Dog night. Luckily our 3 Poodles have to be in constant contact with Linda at night so they immediately know if she leaves the room. I can’t have anything touching me at night if I want to get any sleep at all thanks to an extremely scary experience when I was in high school.

    • Must have been traumatic to stay with you for life. I love having all the cats on me. Thanks, Brian.
