Dawn

I had a Cat 7 (seven cats piled on me) at 3:00 in the morning. Loki is under the covers, lying across my hips. That’s where he likes to sleep on me. See the Kitty Key for an accounting of cats.

Wile E. Coyote hanging out with us on the levee.

Cranes at dusk

Daddy Owl and Mama Owl were hanging out together.

Another great cheese stand-off.

The Tangle Heart Tree and Wile E on the levee.

Not much color on the Sandias tonight.

Afrerglow at dusk
What a great post.
Thanks, Gigi.
Hi Timothy, the coyote pictures are splendid. Your cats are lovely.
Thanks, Robbie.
Love the yotes.
Thanks, Cindy.
Fabulous. Glad that Wile E is still hanging about.
Thanks, Shey.
Lovely post… I hope you had a good sleep 🙂
Thanks, Rudi.
I love the cats…..nothing better than to have a pile of cats sleeping with you:)
Sleeping with cats is the best. Thanks, Janet.
Seeing your family of cats made me wonder if I should get a friend for Jimi… 😉
I would suggest getting a kitten if you do. Adult kitties usually accept kittens. Thanks, Herman.
Not sure how you manage to sleep under that pile of furry delights!
It’s hard to sleep with out cats. They are like a weighted blanket. Thanks, Couriers.
Good point!
I get such a kick out of the great cheese stand-off.
They are so funny about stand-offs over the cheese. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim 😂
You don’t get cold at night, that is for sure! Dawn was spectacular! And there might not have been much colour on the Sandias, but they were beautifully lit. Just a beautiful selection of photos, Tim.
Thanks, Dale.
Nothing like a good pile of cats to stay warm! Dawn to dusk with with bosque and river residents is always a treat. You and Laurie have a wonderful environment down there. I enjoy your views of it.
Nice and cozy. Just got rain, hail and snow all mixed together. Thanks, Lavinia.
Your very own Cat Cafe. The early sky photos look like CGI from War of the Worlds or an Avengers movie.
Lots of cats in the cafe. Thanks, Brad.
I feel close to suffocating with just one cat sleeping on me, I don’t know how you do that!😂
I love it. Thanks, Tiffany.
The “Magnificent Seven” rides again…at least in their dreams! The cheese stand-off picture…you can cut the tension with a knife, but the cheese looks like no knife is necessary.🧀
Only shredded four cheese blend for the kitties. Thanks, Bruce.
I am pleased you pointed all the different cats out… 🙂 lovely photos of them and the owl xx
Thanks, Sue.
I get excited when a FOX comes into my garden! Think how I’d be it it were a coyote! (Sadly not in Scotland though. 😉 )
A coyote in Scotland would be a surprise. We have gray foxes in the bosque, but we rarely see them. Thanks, Cee Tee.
Love this. The kitty key was very helpful for decoding the Cat 7 summit. It’s very fortunate that you were able to reach your camera without having to get up
My phone (the camera) sits on the cat tree an arm’s length away. Thanks, JYP.
BTW this comment was in spam jail.
I will never understand why some comments end up in spam jail and some not. I mean, it’s not like I was referring to your pussy photos…
True. But if you were “thinking” about my pussy photos when you pushed “SEND” that would do it.
Ah, that must be it. I was thinking about your pussy photos and how nice it would be to pet such beautiful pussies and the WP happiness engineers read my mind and threw me in spam jail. I probably need to think less offensive thoughts, like how to sell you CBD vapes and vote for Trump.
The thought of CBD vapes and voting for Trump makes the hair on my pussies stand straight up.
I am sorry to have offended your pussies. If it is any consolation, I have also offended myself.
We are aligned with the world in our states of affendedness.
WOW! You are some cat lover & an awesome photographer! Smiles this morning. Thank you. 📚🎶 Christine
Thanks, Christine. How’s the novel coming?
I’m getting to the finish line with the sequel. Have the end chapters done, and working on the Bad Guys Closing In, then, The All Is Lost. How Elizabeth falls apart, then deals with the tragedy; her physician husband volunteering in the Da Nang hospital, that has been bombed by the Vietcong. What could she possibly do as a civilian nurse with expert suturing skills? You guessed it. But, how does she get there? And what does she find when she does? 📚🎶 Christine
A gripping story for sure. I can’t wait.
Thanks for always being supportive! I know I can count on you to like a lot of the sequel’s chapters! Woodstock 1969 for sure! 📚🎶 Christine
All of it will be good.
Nice captures of the coyote Tim.
Thanks, Brad.
7 cats!!!!!!! I bet you don’t need a blanket! You’ve got a live one!
What a crop you share today! Wile E [love the fella!], mr and mrs Owl, Cranes, beautiful Sandias [I do see color!], Tangle Heart Tree waving Wile E goodbye, a beautiful afterglow and somewhere in between, a cheese stand-off! Wow!
That is a lot the way you recap it. I miss Wile E. the few days I don’t see him. Thanks, Marina.
Oh the line up you have in your bed. I can never complain a lot. Love mama and daddy owl on the scene together, Tm💕
Thanks, Cindy.
Kitty pile! Love those early morning kitty visits when I visit my daughter. 😻 Beautiful photos with a special Wile E. appearance. 👏🏻
Kitties are comforting. Thanks, Michele.
Yes, so sweet. You are welcome.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
I’m sharing the cat coder and cheese stand off with a good friend/cat person tomorrow…and Norm of course. He knows all about the cheese stand offs at your place.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Happy you got a kick out of this. Thanks, Resa.
LOVE IT!!!!
Oh!
Are the owls making a nest in your tree?
I don’t know yet.
I’m amazed at te natural beauty around you Timothy, thank you for getting out with you camera and sharing it with us!
You are welcome, Holly.
You’re welcome
Super photos .. love those kitties!
Thanks, Julie.
Not sure what the temperature scale is for Cats vs say a 3 Dog night. Luckily our 3 Poodles have to be in constant contact with Linda at night so they immediately know if she leaves the room. I can’t have anything touching me at night if I want to get any sleep at all thanks to an extremely scary experience when I was in high school.
Must have been traumatic to stay with you for life. I love having all the cats on me. Thanks, Brian.
