Jupiter, Venus, Crescent Moon, and Mars

Sunrise

Spunk eyes me at bedtime. A nurse asked me if I feel safe at home during a pre-doctor visit screening yesterday. I told her “Yes!” I might have lied to her coming to think about it.

Sunset

Owlets after sunset. The second photo is of Mama Owl blinking a moment before she took flight. As you can see there are three little faces.
The owlets are really growing.
Of course I love Spunk, as well as the other images.
Thanks, Susan. I heard Mama fed them a rabbit before I got out there tonight. Then she was off looking for more. It’s a lot of work to keep those owlets fed. Spunk is very reassuring giving me mad kitty dogs while I’m lying in bed before turning out the light.
Nature’s beauty and spunkitude! Cute cat and those baby owls. 😍
You have it right one Spunk. The owlets are little darlings. Thanks, Michele.
Beautiful sky. I kinda worry about your safety with that kitty at home. Owlets looking strong.
A legitimate worry. The owlets are full of feist. Thanks, Jeff.
Indeed. Ah, I can see that. It will be fun to see them begin to fly. Welcome, Tim.
What a gorgeous post Timothy. I love the kitties, the owlets, the sky. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are welcome, Gabriela.
🙂
I was counting the little wowl heads. There are three! Mama Wowl has done a good job. The sky is beautiful. Still too many clouds up here today, but the play of shadows and light was gorgeous. We had many passing storms.
Spunk has you in his sights, for sure. I can see his wheels turning. 🙂
Spunk is so pretty Timothy
Those are some great shots of kitty.
Owl found the perfect camouflage for the babies.
You have a doctor on call for home visits?
I like the display of colour in the clouds.
Thanks, abvr. No home visits from the doctor. It’s difficult to get doctor visits of any kind anymore. The nurses always as if you feel safe at home during their pre-visit screening.
You welcome Timothy. Oh I was also quite surprised since the are very few that still do on-call home visits.
So the nurses still come around ?
No. The pre-screening was on a phone call.
Oh dear, my comprehension.
Ok, that’s a great service.
Thanks, Lavinia. It’s cloudy here this morning so I didn’t get the first conjunction of Jupiter and Venus. Hopefully it will be clear on Friday for the second conjunction.
Lovely pictures Timothy. Spunk’s eyes are something else. Amazing.
Thanks, Shey.
Thanks for the Spunk fix. Assume the lighting is making the wowlets look cold?
Images from the enchanted world and, I agree, you may have lied. Still, Spunk is adorable! 😉
Thanks, Marina. Spunk gets away with a lot because he’s so adorable.
Well of course!!!!!
Amazing skies again, Sir. The owlets keeping an eye or two on you?
Sp[unk loos like he’s scheme-making to me? Haha!
Thanks, Inchcock.
Lovely pictures. The cats are adorable.
Thanks, Roberta.
Yay for 3 owlets. Great images of Spunk being Spunk. Enjoy your day, Tim.
Thanks, Maj & Sher.
Lovely photos! And yes, Spunk definitely looks “spunky.”
Thanks, Dawn. He’s a sweet terror.
You’d best sleep with one eye open… haha!
Exactly. Thanks, PBS.
Nice pics! Like the golden sunrise. I used to live on the 5th floor with a western exposure and plenty of horizon and sky, and took hundreds of pictures–all alike, all different.
Thanks, Roy. Sunrises and sunsets. That are similar each day but never the same.
Absolutely stunning. I’m inspired.
And oh my goodness, Spunk is just beyond cute!
Thanks, Juliette. Spunks is cute and ornery.
You better keep watch on Spunk, I think he has some devious plans behind those eyes. I was just asked that very same “do you feel safe” question in my latest office visit. I thought about the Halloween clown props currently lined up in my basement and had to force out a weak “yes” – god knows what would happen to me if they found I ratted them out!!
One time a nurse asked if I felt safe at home. I said yes. Then I said “Do I feel safe here? No!” She was taken aback a bit. Thanks, Brian.
thanks for the spunk eye pics the provocative one. And happy there are 3 owlettes. They’re adorable! 💖💖
Yep, be warry of that Spunk character! Love the owlets, they are growing up so fast!
Thanks, Tiffany.
Beautiful photographs – and oh how I love Spunk:)
Spunk is well loved. He knows it and uses it to his full advantage. Thanks, Janet.
Beautiful pictures, l believe nature will never forget you .
Ah! Thanks, Enice. It’s nice to think something won’t forget.
Never underestimate a cat, I warned you before. Cats can read human minds…
It certianly seems that way. Thanks, Herman.
Wow… Your skies are always Soooo, dramatic… Wonderful images Tim.. 🙂
Thanks, Sue.
This dark violet sky is magical ❤️ and the cat is already my favourite. Nurse? Why nurse, who is sick?
No sickness, annual checkups. Thanks, Marine.
🌹🙏
LOLOLOL!!! Q – How adorable is Spunkie-Poo 💋?
A – Amazing adorable!
Do you know the song “Eyes Of A Stranger”?
Now, I’ve got that song riffing in my head… but Eyes Of The Spunkster.
Eyes of the Spunkster is right. Thanks, Resa.
Can’t get it out of my ear now!
Wonderful skies Tim! Spunk always looks so handsome
He is handsome. Helps him get away with stuff. Thanks, Julie.
Ha ha I bet!
Oh, c’mon… Spunk wouldn’t hurt you… right? And WOW on that sky!
I can rest assured. Thanks, Dale.
Phew!
The photographs are beautiful. Your cat is pretty sweet you can tell how much he loves you, so I think you are probably safe. Seeing the owls is a gift. The little owlets are so sweet looking out of their nest so carefully. Every time I see a photo of the owls one of the things that comes to mind is how intuitive earth’s beautiful birds are indeed. The color of that tree matches them to the point that many of your shots of the mama and daddy owl I would have never seen. Such a gift!
Thanks, Joni.
