Do you have Fish Crows over there or just the standard run of the mill Americans? Got my first introduction to the Fish while in Dauphin Island last year and now I am constantly listening for their unique vocals. Reply
A birder told me our crows are Chihuahuan ravens. These crows/ravens sound like normal run of the mill crows. Thanks, Brian. Reply
Drats, I have been trying to get that Chihuahuan for a long time now – apparently I have to make a trip out there!
A beautiful selection of photos, Tim. It was interesting seeing the coyote, too. Do you ever get wolves coming through? Reply
I don’t think we have wolves in the valley. One of our staff who lives in the foot hills set a trap for a raccoon and got a gray fox. Thanks, Lavinia. Reply
Thank goodness for the beauty you share… I feel present in all those moments and maybe even crossing that bridge side by side with mr Coyote! 😉👌 Reply
Señor Coyote seemed pretty zoned out like he didn’t have a care in the world. I’m always happy to share the beauty with you. Thanks, Marina. Reply
Wonderful shots, Tim! I wish coyotes were more… nice. They’re quite sweet looking. They resemble puppy dogs. Reply
Lovely and varied selection, Tim.
Thanks, Dale.
The fourth from the bottom is ballet in feathers. So wonderful.
Thanks, Gigi. Marina calls them crane ballet dancers.

Pterodactyl totally ignored the ducks, didn’t he?
The pTer hangs out with the ducks a lot. They seem to ignore each other. Thanks, Maj & Sher.
The Rio red and lovely cranes. Thank you Timothy.
You are welcome Shey.

…and why should he… at least some beings can still wonder about carefree! 😉
But he needs to watch out for the mountain lion who loves to eat coyotes.
