At dusk looking south with Venus overhead.
Jupiter only had two moons tonight. The bazooka is such a blast as it got a tiny Saturn with its rings.
The Hunter’s Moon making its way over the Sandias. Sandhill Cranes in the moonlight.
The Hunter’s Moon rising.
Moon tunnel. Moon glow through the trees.
Mia’s Tree under Venus.
This evening we were driving to the store and the moon was low and huge! Orange too. I was in the store about 10 minutes and when I came out the moon was smaller and way up in the sky. I don’t know how it changed so quickly!
The moon moves quickly. Thanks, Susan.
How you managed to capture the ring of Saturn with such clarity is beyond me. Such unbelievable pictures! They’re all so glorious, the Moon is stunning! 🤩
Jupiter’s moons are also so clear! I wouldn’t have known if I’d seen them in the sky. The shot of the Moon behind the tree is ethereal- looks straight out of a storybook!
The number of Jupiter’s moons that the camera can see changes from night to night. The other night 4 moons were showing. I try and do photos that look a little different. I was really happy with the moon tunnel shot.
You have to be very happy with all your shots everyday then! 😀
I get really happy when I click good pics. I’m an excellent photographer… if screenshots count as photographs 😉🙈
So you have something to feel happy about everyday 😀
Photography makes me happy. Otherwise I wouldn’t do it. I’m sure you are a wonderful photographer when you do it.
The only kind of photography I’m good at is screenshots, like I said before. 😅 Ofcourse, you are such a professional and it must a cathartic experience.
Thanks, Sam. I’ve been trying different settings at different times of night on Saturn. I got a decent combo tonight.
Spot on shots there, Tim! Well done Sir.
Thanks, Inchcock.
All the shots are great, but very partial to the 4th and 5th shots with the stars and the moonlit setting.
Thanks, Brian.
Wowww
Thanks, Saania.
Wow is an understatement Timothy!
Thanks, Ebar.
Those first two pictures are amazing, Timothy. Could you see the moons and rings with the naked eye?
No! Not at all. And I’m surprised I get them with a 400mm lens. Saturn is particularly difficult because it is small and doesn’t shine as brightly as Jupiter and Venus. Thanks, Roberta.
Beautiful shots Timothy, maybe one day I will try to do this too.
You should try it. Thanks, Rudi.
Amazing moon images, each of them.
Thanks, Heidi.
Nice content
Thanks, Unnimaya.
Fantastic shots.
Thanks, Shey.
Driving home last night lit by the full moon, thought of you and your likely great photos. You didn’t disappoint!
Thanks, Couriers. I’m happy I didn’t disappoint you.
The conspiracy goes on and on… even the Bazooka’s into it! I’ll just stay here to enjoy what is offered! 🙏
Thanks, Marina. I’m happy you can enjoy what I see from my side of the world.
Oh, very much, my friend.
Omigosh, these are amazing, Tim. I’m just happy if I get a clear shot… which I at least did manage to. sigh.
Thanks, Dale. We had crystal clear skies last night. That probably helped with the Saturn shot.
No doubt. It was so funny how clear the moon was for the maybe two minutes? I was able to capture a few clicks… Nothing worth going nuts about 🙂
It was still bright in the clear, cold sky this morning.
I was so hoping for that today but nope, not to be. Cloudy skies with not a break to be seen.
Raining one your hunter’s moon parade. I hate it when that happens.
No rain… just clouds. Still, I did manage to get a few 😉 The cell phone ones were shared on IG, the camera ones, I looked at and might just share one, as well 🙂
This is some awesome thinking. I love this! Wonderful ideas!💓
Thanks, Asif.
Beautiful photos, Tim. That bazooka gives awesome results.
Thanks, Maj & Sher.
Great skies there. It’s going to rain today so I’m happy I got some shots in last night.
Thanks, Teri. Clear skies here.
Thanks for sharing these amazing photos, Tim, very impressive!
You are welcome, Tiffany. Thanks for dropping in.
Love the moon shots through the trees!
Thanks, Anne Marie.
Beautiful images, Tim!
Thanks, Lavinia.
Oh my each one so different and pretty. the rings and the moon through the tree with those exquisite colors are awesome! 💖
Thanks, Cindy.
👏🌷Welcome!
A gluttony of riches!
Moon tunnel & Moon glow through the trees are exceptionally creative shots. Sweet!
Thanks, Resa. I’m always looking for creative was to shoot the moon.
…. and you are always finding!
Wonderful!
Thanks, Julie.
Beautiful! I spent most of my teen years in Albuquerque. Surprised to see pic of the Sandias in this post. wooHOO! Nice!
Thanks, Boromax. You will see the Sandias in most of my posts.
You can call me Ed. ‘Boromax’ is a handle I adopted in the mid-’90s when having a ‘screen name’ was a thing.
Nice to meet you, Ed.
