The epic standoff..the dog that doesn’t care vs the kitty that must be acknowmedged…just needs some spaghetti western music in the background and constant back and forth shots of the eyes!
I’ve never seen a bear in the bosque, but there have been reports of an occasional bear wandering through. Were you trying to imagine me walking through the bosque with a bear behind? Old Benny Hill joke.
I’ve seen deer on the riverbanks. There are a lot of deer occupying people’s yards up in the far NE heights. I haven’t heard reports of bears in the city for quite a while. Do you have bears hanging out in your area?
The cranes will stick around until mid-March. They are the few hundred that are smart enough to stay up here and not compete with the thousands that fly down to Bosque del Apache.
How are you doing? Are you going to ride again? Thanks, Joe.
My favorite time of year, and you have captured the colors and mood. I probably won’t see the crescent moon tonight either – too many clouds in all the wrong places..

Exactly. We were watching a concert from 1990 with Waylon, Willie and the Boys (Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson). Thanks, Brian.
Enjoying your pictures. Can’t believe how many cranes you have, and how long they stay there. Do you ever see any bears in the bosque?

That was quite the walk! Can’t blame kitty for being cautious… Love the tunnel-like path!
Thanks, Dale. It’s not like that was the first time Jake ignored Tycho.
Still… Tycho has no chances to take 😉
True.
Love walks like this.
Thankss, Shey.
Lots of autumn colours in this gorgeous post
Thanks, Robbie. How is your spring springing?
It has been very wet so we have an abundance of flowers this year 💝
Sound lovely.
So beautiful.
Thanks, Gigi.
😊
I’m surprised Jake managed to keep his eyes closed with the cat looking at him like that! 🤣
Great pictures of the sky!
Wow what a long walk!
Jake doesn’t think the cat exists since he knows he won’t get T&A (treats & attention) from the Tycho. Thanks, Becky.
Awe! Poor Jake ☺️
And Jake sleeps on oblivious. I love the branch tunnel.
Cat?? What cat? Thanks, Liz.
😁You’re welcome, Tim.

Would make a good country parody. Thanks, Lavinia.
🙂 Just what I was thinking…
I know that ‘LOOK’ 🙂 and I know who would come out the Winner… and it wouldn’t be the Dawgy 🙂 xx
Great images Tim xx
You got that right. Thanks, Sue.
What a beautiful walk!
Thanks, Dawn.
Fantastic selection, Sir!
Thanks, Incy.
Spectacular beauty, Tim.
Thank you!
Very, very, very grey here. Consistency at its greyest.
“You will get by. You will Survive… Every grey sky has a silver lining…” Ok, not quite what The Greatful Dead sang. Thanks, Resa.
Thanks Tim! xx
