Wile E. Coyote has a hangdog look in the first photo when he was on the ditch by our gate. He crossed the Clearwater ditch, ran up onto the top of the levee near where I was, and looked a little less hangdog.

  1. He looks so much healthier than the coyotes wandering in the heights, looking for food, these days.

  2. Posts where you mention and show Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner always brings me back to my childhood and the wonderful cartoons about my two favourite characters in animation.

    • The road runner and coyote were some of my favorite cartoons, also. I still get a kick out of them along with Bugs Bunny, Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester and Tweety, etc. Thanks, Herman.

  3. I like the thin crescent moon. I can never remember if it’s “new” in that crescent, or waning. The coyote looks well fed, with a nice coat.

    • Waning moon if its a morning crescent. There will be a new moon on the 11th. Ole Wile E. Hangdog Coyote is not missing many meals. Thanks, Brad.

    • Wile E. is not camera shy, or shy at all. He hangdogs close by and be’s what he be’s. Thanks, Marina.

  4. Would that my surroundings were even one tenth that photogenic. Even your neighbor Mr. Coyote looks better than mine.

    • Thanks, Angela. It seems that here in the Land of Enchantment our coyotes are enchanted, as well.

  5. He looks like he could be friends with you Tim but don’t take any chances. Knowing you, you might turn him into a pet. The cats would be history.
Wow Contrail pic is gorgeous. ❣️

  6. Wow I wish I could see wildlife like birds capture in the pictures! I only have seen bears, moose, deer.
    That sky is phenomenal! 💕

    • I had a six cat night. It was 9º this morning and 50º in the house. The cats tried to keep me in bed. Thanks, Brian.
