I went out to get the moonrise this afternoon. The clouds covered the moon when it first came over the mountain, but then as it rose behind the clouds it afforded nice photo ops. The geese and cranes are still hanging around, and the crows were thick at times, which reminded me of the movie “The Birds.”
The crane pics are so beautiful!
These pictures are amazing! The last one is so beautiful…
Thanks! I’m happy you liked the photo of the crows. Thousands of crows in the sky look much more impressive in person. The photo doesn’t really do them justice.
all those pictures were very pretty and cool, but my favorite was the last one with a ton of birds flying =)
Thanks! The photo only captures a small number of the crows that filled up the sky. Have you seen Alfred Hitchcock’s movie “The Birds”?
Really? That was a lot in my opinion, I can’t even imagine there being a lot more haha. and no I haven’t. Is it a good movie?
“The Birds” is a classic. Well worth seeing. Hitchcock was a master of suspense and filmmaking. People were afraid to take showers for years after “Psycho” came out in 1960.
oh really? haha, well I don’t know if I’ll watch it after all. I have never liked suspenseful or scary movies…
I don’t like scary movies either, especially bloody, mad slasher types, but Hitchcock is a master of filmmaking so even though his movies are suspenseful, and at time downright scary, they are really worth watching.
haha I know right! well that’s is good to know. we shall see what happens =)
The mountains in the background just at to the pictures. 🙂 You have a lovely eye for photos, that is for sure.
Thanks, Rebecca!
I love all the photos today, especially the hawk and “the birds”. Very unusual shots.
Thanks!
You captured the birds in flight so well! Beautiful photos 🙂
Thanks, Iris!
