Some of these photographs look like impressionist paintings, Tim!!
It’s more dark than light when I’m taking a lot of the photos. The images are underexposed and grainy, making them go all impressionist on me. Thanks, Rebecca.
The cranes at sunset is different from the morning ones because the reflections in the water show. I like all of them.
Always intriguing when the aurora shows up here. Thanks for the image.
Bowie and I had a wonderful time. 🙂
The evening cranes are at a different spot with some slow-moving water to reflect them. The morning cranes are in fast-moving water. Thanks, Susan.
Thanks, Tim. I knew the light would make a difference, but I had not thought about the rate of movement of the water. 🤔 That makes sense, thanks for the explanation. 🙂
Quite the cornucopia of shots tonight Tim. Spunk with the arms around the post made me chuckle, when life throws you curves, grab the bat…err pole!!
Spunk wanted to fight. He’s been in the mood to fight lately. Thanks, Brian.
Great mix. The cats are brilliant as always.
You your tree looks great. Thanks, Shey.
I thought it looked in good bloom . Also I meant to say Spunk gets the prize for posing in this set.
Really enjoyed the landscape and sky photos, Timothy. Fun to see the aurora in NM. Wonderful to have the owl family in your neighborhood and of course the sandhill cranes. I especially liked the sunrise on the Sandias with the crane silhouettes.
Thanks, Jet. I’m happy you enjoyed the post.
Cool skies and cats.
Thanks, Brad.
I love the effects you get on these beautiful images. I tell ya… the cats have the best life, don’t they? I jokingly shared my Noraura Borealis…

We got the same Noraura Borealis last night, even though I kept getting notifications that it was out there somewhere. One of my staff went out in the wilds and said there were a bunch of people out in the wilds, also, all set up to photograph the Noraura Borealis. It was a dud last night.
Apparently it’s not done yet. We have a chance tonight and tomorrow… What’s happening right here right now? Rain. What does that mean? Clouds. Again. Balderdash!
Our KP index is really low now. Not a chance of seeing anything.
Sigh…
so beautiful, Tim. I love the crane reflections! xx
Thanks, Cindy.
Yep!!!
A bottomless well of beautiful photos today Tim. Thanks, love them all. Nice to see Daddy on the look-out.
Thanks, Inchy.
And thank you again, mate.
The picture of Spunk… priceless!!
The aurora pic is quite lovely. Lucky you!
Thanks, Nancy. Spunk was looking for a fight.
Fabulous cats…so beautiful. Everything else is lovely as well…but CATS!!!!
The cats are special. Thanks, Gigi.
So special. 🙂
Thanks, Gigi.
I especially love the kitties and owls! Nice to see Bowie and Jake at Susan’s, too. We haven’t seen Bowie in a while.
Bowie likes Jake. We figure he must have had exposure to dogs before Susan got him because he didn’t have the usual “Oh! No! A DOG!” reactions like our cats had the first time Jake came into the house. Thanks, Lavinia.
That photo, just blue and white… with two trails! Wow!
Thanks, Geoff. I appreciate it.
Wow! What an amazing collection! Such super kitty pics ..
Thanks, Julie. How’s Spring springing?
Spring is springing! Looking gorgeous I just have to blow the dust off my camera and get out there!
The world is waiting for you.
That’s very cool thank you!
