    • It’s more dark than light when I’m taking a lot of the photos. The images are underexposed and grainy, making them go all impressionist on me. Thanks, Rebecca.

  1. The cranes at sunset is different from the morning ones because the reflections in the water show. I like all of them.
Always intriguing when the aurora shows up here. Thanks for the image.
Bowie and I had a wonderful time. 🙂

    • The evening cranes are at a different spot with some slow-moving water to reflect them. The morning cranes are in fast-moving water. Thanks, Susan.

      • Thanks, Tim. I knew the light would make a difference, but I had not thought about the rate of movement of the water. 🤔 That makes sense, thanks for the explanation. 🙂

  2. Quite the cornucopia of shots tonight Tim. Spunk with the arms around the post made me chuckle, when life throws you curves, grab the bat…err pole!!

  3. Really enjoyed the landscape and sky photos, Timothy. Fun to see the aurora in NM. Wonderful to have the owl family in your neighborhood and of course the sandhill cranes. I especially liked the sunrise on the Sandias with the crane silhouettes.

    • We got the same Noraura Borealis last night, even though I kept getting notifications that it was out there somewhere. One of my staff went out in the wilds and said there were a bunch of people out in the wilds, also, all set up to photograph the Noraura Borealis. It was a dud last night.

    • Bowie likes Jake. We figure he must have had exposure to dogs before Susan got him because he didn’t have the usual “Oh! No! A DOG!” reactions like our cats had the first time Jake came into the house. Thanks, Lavinia.
