Dawn from Beaver Point, 4th of July Point, and South Beach

Sunrise from the edge of the Barrens
Map of the morning walk to show the points of dawn and sunrise photos of the Rio Grande and Sandias. The evening walk was the same, but we only went down to South Beach and back.

The Super Beaver Moon is 100% full tonight and does not pass the meridian.

Wonderful photos and place to watch the skies.
Thank, Brad.
Shadows cast on the bank in one photo look like giraffe markings.
Good eye. Thank, Couriers.
So much beauty around you, Tim. Gorgeous photos. Is Spunk waiting for anything in particular?
Spunk is waiting for Greenies. Crunch time! Thanks, Dale.
Moondust loves those, too 🙂
Even more gorgeous than yesterday’s.
Thanks, Shey.
You got some amazing pics, love that moon!
Thanks, Tiffany.
Beautiful skyscapes!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
So many beautiful photos! I love cranes in the mist. And the shadows from the cottonwoods. So nice.
Thanks, Donna.
They are all beautiful but that first shot is amazing. Of course the kitties are always the winners.
Thanks, Gigi.
😊
Beautiful autumn colors. What great photos of the cranes in the mist and the Beaver Moon.
Thanks, Rebecca.
The golden hues in these pics is sublime. So much beauty there right now.
Aww, Spunkie-Poo 💋 looks might healthy. Has he calmed down with age and weight?
How many miles to the edge of the Barrens and back?xx
It’s two miles round trip on route through the Barrrens. Spunk has his sweet moments. He snuggled on me for 30 minutes in the library in front of the fireplace last night. But he is still ornery.
The golding of the trees and the golding of the moon. Autumn is my favorite time of year!
Autumn is wonderful out here. Thanks, Lavinia.
Oooh, what a lovely beaver moon. I’ve never heard that term locally.
Do you have beaver in your parts? They might be a northern hemisphere critter. Thanks, Robbie.
Glorious photography, Timothy.
Here in Australia 🦘🇦🇺 we call it
a Platypus Moon 🌕 🤔🕶 None
of that Northern hemispherical
“Beaver” business down under 😎
I wouldn’t think you have the be mooning beavers down under. A Platypus Moon? That sound right down under ducky! Thanks, David
None of them dam beavers
around here 🚫🦫 😎
None of those ducky platypi around here.
There’s no way a poor Aussie platypi
could pay the bill to stay in the USA 🇺🇸
It would be billed a ducksworth.
“Cranes in the mist at dawn” 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Thanks, Randall.
Great photos!
Thanks, Dawn.
As I was scrolling the images just kept getting better and better! Top shots Tim
I’m happy you saw it that way. Thanks, Julie.
