Pre-dawn

Marble: “Why hasn’t that pathetic, lame-brained paparazzo put out any cheez for us?”

Silver: “¡Callate, Marble! Show some respect to the poor old paparazzo. He’s a little slow these days.”

Silver: “Hear me, oh Lord. I thank you for kicking our old paparazzo in the pants, reminding him to give us cheez.”
Loki: “You are such a drama queen, Silver! The old, half-wit paparazzo does not look impressed!”

I love the one with the cranes! (Whew! You narrowly averted a cat mutiny.)
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Those are patient cats and some magical photos Tim🌹
Thanks, Cindy.
💓
lobe the humor in this, the self deprecatory kind, the highest form 🙂
I have to imagine what the cats truly think of me. Thanks, John.
And that’s the perfect start for a day. Muchas gracias!
¡De nada, Marina!
A conversation with cats… always a pleasure to follow and read!
Those cats have a way with words. Thanks, Herman.
Lovely pics. xxxx
Thanks, Shey.
Spectacular skies, Timothy.
Thanks, Robbie.
All them colours…do you make them in post, using photoshop to turn up the saturation? Or that is what life looks like through your lens?
The colors are pretty close to what I see. However, the camera adjusts the exposure, which washes out the colors to some extent. I adjust the images to bring them closer to what I remember. Thanks, DR.
We take a lot of pictures at the race track and car shows. Without cranking up the saturation, they look so … plain.
.
Maybe we need to get a proper camera in ’25.
It’s much easier to adjust photos in post-processing than messing with manual settings and adjustments trying to get a “good” jpg or raw image. For sports, you need quick shooting more than perfect exposures. A “proper” camera may not give you better results than what you use now.
Awesome skies and fun banter with your cats.
Cats being cats. Thanks, Brad.
The quote that came to me when I view your Pink Morning is by Wendell Berry, one of my most favourite people to quote: “Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup.” Wendell Berry
I really am enjoying your post titles,Tim: “Blue Morning, Blue Frost” and “Pink Morning, Blue Day.”
That is a wonderful quote. Those titles are plays on the Metalica song “Bue Morning, Blue Day.” I try to come up with catchy titles, but it gets tough sometimes. Thanks, Rebecca.
Beautiful morning light. How fun to see the group of Sandhill Cranes. I can just imagine the noise.
Thanks, Rebecca.
My tree is just there, resplendent in the beauty around her.
The cats are just there, resplendent in their annoyance of your lack of cheez servicing.
Gorgeous fall colours, and fabulous shots. Thanks Tim!
Cats have a way of resplending when it comes to things they want. Thanks, Resa.
Your Painter has been very busy again, Tim! The Howlin’ Thuggin’ Jugger Cat Cheese Band is always fun to see.
It’s been rainy and colder up here. We get glimpses of the moon.
Cyrstal clear tonight. We will have another cold morning. Thanks, Lavinia.
Beautiful.
Thanks, Gigi.
LOL
Thanks, Dawn.
Oh wow stunning photos! You must keep those kitties happy …
Thanks, Julie.
Pink morning, blue day
Won’t you see things my way?
Pink morning, can’t you see
What your love has done to me?
You got it. Thanks, Brian.
