Five @ Five

Marina’s Incognito Tree is back to being hard to see.

Gigi’s Tree with Laurie, moon and contrail

Glenda is on the right half under Sasha on the left. Then Gwendolyn, Spunk and Silver. Spunk’s tail is on my toes. Loki is on Laurie. Marble might have been under the covers with Laurie, but I can’t say for sure.

24ºF outside + 54ºF inside + 5:00 in the morning = 5 Cats on me and a tail on my toes. Hmmm! Tail on Toes would make a great name for a post-rock band. Tones on Tail was a great post-punk band.

Belafante enjoying himself in the mirror.

He’s gives himself kisses

Gwendolyn hanging over the edge of the counter, trying to maximize heat gain.

Sunset on the Sandias under clear skies

A few clouds down south

  1. When did you get Belafante? We’re trying to keep up with our friends’ posts when able, but we definitely missed the introduction to another household darling.

    • We got Belafante on Friday. Our daughter moved to Germany with her job. So we got Jake and Belafante. Thanks, Dawn.

  2. Clouds, Sandias at sunset, Gwendolyn, smart Belafante, the lot under covers, the Moon surfing, Gigi’s Tree and Laurie and the Incognito Tree… all part of a beautiful day. Happy Monday, Tim.

    • The snow melts away quickly under out intense sun, so the trees bounce back quicky, too. Thanks, Gigi.

  3. You are getting some nice weather, but cold! Cats are like those heat seeking tube worms clustered around deep sea hydrothermal vents.

Belafonte is a handsome fellow. He looks quite happy with his mirror! Has he met Soren or Beaker yet?

    • He’s in the same room with Søren and Beaker. We have to keep the conures, and Søren separated. Søren will attack them. He thinks he’s a Tyrannosaurus. Thanks, Lavinia.

  4. Hahaha hahahah

It’s hard to focus on all those amazing shots & pretty birdie with that Cat Comforter hogging the post!

    Love it! xx

    • We let it get down that low. For all the food and cheese the kitties eat, we might as well get some benefit from the warmth. Thanks, Brian.
