Pre-dawn

Truth be told, I got distracted by clouds again.

Dawn

February’s Snow Moon is a “Micromoon” this year. It will be at its farthest point from the Earth on the 24th, which will be about 252,225 miles (405,917 Km).

I forgot about the pTerodactyl. What can I say, pTerodactyls happen!

The cranes were flapping their wings while wading in the river.

Sunset

pTerodactyl was still in the ditch in the dark.
Beautiful
Thanks, vermavkv.
Beautiful photos and interesting details about the Snow Moon. Thanks, Tim.
Thanks, Michele. You’re welcome.
The cloud-scapes are breathtaking, Tim. No wonder they distracted you. They’re all “Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels; The dizzy dancing way you feel; As every fairy tale comes real…” I’m sure Joni Mitchell would agree. Which brings me to the ditch at night photo — it reminds me of fairy paintings from the Victorian Era. Hugs.
That’s what they are. The clouds have been relentless in distracting me. I think there is a cloud conspiracy at hand. Thanks, Teagan.
Haha! I think I hear a song parody in the making.
We’ll see.
Nice cranes and nice moon 🥰
Thanks, Robbie.
Wonderful. I captured the moon, too, late this afternoon. I am hoping to go for a photo shoot tomorrow as I took the day. Of course, they are calling for snow and maybe a mix of rain. Bah humbug!
I wish you the best for not so bad weather for your photo adventure. Thanks, Dale.
Thank you, kind sir! It’s an extremely grey and snow/rain/sun (sort of)/rain/ kind of day so… meh!
Too bad.
Ended up hanging with my mother so… A different win!
beuatiful clouds, like salt-on-silk dyed
Thanks, Heidi.
Just some epicness. You don’t need a title when it is this good.
Thanks, Shey.
The moon is stupendous and the cranes so beautiful……
Thanks, Janet.
No wonder you got distracted by the clouds! Painter won’t let you rest!
The painter is a slave driver. Thanks, Marina.
I can see how those clouds would be distracting, beautiful!
They are so distracting. Thanks, Tiffany.
Beautiful dawn skies, Tim! Especially those clouds. Images within images.
Thanks, Lavinia.
And beautiful skies, Tim… don’t forget those! “pTerodactyls happen!” NOT here.. lol thanks for sharing❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
💕💕
Your sky photos and oh that MOON, are always phenomenal Tim… Beautiful images xx
Thanks, Sue.
Not really commenting, just saying how wonderful your pics are.
Thank you! Got my tree. xx
You’re welcome, Resa! Enjoy.
Second time around for me, Tim. So much to take in. LOVE them all!!
Thanks, Rebecca.
Beautiful skyscapes!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Mooniferous, Cranetastic.
Thanks, Geoff.
Stunning photos!!! I especially love the ones with the streetlights and power lines! ❤️
Thanks, Samantha.
Ah, unfortunately going backwards to get caught up or I would have known what a Micromoon is and maybe had a better chance of knowing the acronym in your later post.
Would have helped. Speaking of things micro, and woman off camera says to a dad with his wife and kid, “Your wiener is the size of a Tic-Toc!” The kid responds, “That’s why mommy’s breath smells good!” Cracked me up.
Hilarious, I need to remember that one.
Do you know Elton John’s “This Song Has No Title” on the “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” album? The last line of the chorus is “Oh, this song’s got no title, just words and a tune!” Thanks, Brian.
I always get distracted by clouds! Great pics Tim ..
Thanks, Julie.
