A Beak Peek

While Mama Owl was up in the tree shootin’ the breeze, the little wowls were bobbing around in the nest. One of the wowlets tried to peek over the edge of the nest giving us a little beak peek.

Flowers are blooming despite the drought and freezing mornings.

  1. Those are some good ol ‘Merican colored flowers – you’ve captured them well. Very nice owl, and scenery pics as always. Great work! 👍😎

  2. That is an adorable beak peek from the wowlet, Tim. Any idea how many are in the nest? I loved this set of photos. All seems right in your corner of the world.

    • I don’t know how many yet. This one with be the oldest and largest if there are more than one. Thanks, Lavinia.

  3. There is something about silhouettes that draw my attention – I’ve noticed I spend a bit more time looking and thinking over such photos. The “Mama Owl through limbs” shot is one of those that draws a lot of attention… maybe it is the mystery of the silhouette that stirs the imagination 🙂
