  1. Very sharp owl shots – got my first burrowing owl a few days ago… well, just the head looking over an irrigation pipe – looks like Kilroy ha.

    • I should go out on the est mesa and see if I can find any burrowing owls. We used to have a lot. Thanks, Brian.

    • Thanks, KT. The owl is vain. He was also ignoring us looking for prey. Laurie was about 10 feet from him when I took these shots. I was about 15 feet away from him.

  3. These shots are just amazing Tim, that has got to be one of the most beautiful photographs in a row that I have seen anywhere of the sky. That red mountain was just breathtaking. I love the Owl, he is quite the poser. I love it, the obviously feel very close to you two. Big hugs, Joni
