Can you find the lone crane in this photo?

It’s on the rocks!

No red on the Sandias tonight

A gang of scrawny-looking teenagers at Fourth of July Point. They probably fell behind and were left on their own to make their way north.

Five cranes flew over the teenage crane’s cuckoo’s nest

  1. I assume those teenagers were too busy laying on the couch playing video games and missed the train north. Hopefully they will hook up with another flock and make it to where they need to be.

    • You know how teenagers are these days. Hopefully there’s a lot more cranes flying north from Bosque del Apache and other places south of us. Thanks, Brian.

  2. Nice contrast of the clouds! The Sandias somehow look lonely without the activity of the cranes. I hope the teenagers find their way.

  3. So many changes in the sky which seemes to be unusual for where you are. I don’t think I have seen one of your images with so many fluffy white clouds? The cranes would be so aware of any changes in the air:)

    • The clouds are always changing. You never know what the sky will have to offer here. Thanks, Janet.

  4. No, I didn’t find the crane on the rocks. Turns out what I thought was a crane on the rocks was a rock.
    Thank Tim! xo
