They are all beautiful images! I especially love that first one. The moon eye is looking out into space to the right of Venus. Just enough cloud to catch dawn’s colors on the undersides. I also love that crescent moon that moves through the contrail. Nice effect!
The balloonist was making good use of cold air. Doesn’t need much heat to get a rise out the balloon. On the other hand, couldn’t get much of a rise out of anything but goosebumps and nipples standing outside in my skivvies at -11ºC to get the photos. Anyway, people fly balloons year-round here. Thanks, Dale.
Tim – your “sky” photos are a testament to the sky’s vast, ever-changing, and awe-inspiring presence in our lives. Your photos remind me of the grandness of the universe.
Whose tree is that in the first shot with the moon and contrail. Which, by the way looks like a magic spell shot.
Love my tree and the cranes. Thanks Tim!
The tree in the center is Gigi’s Tree. the moon and Venus have shifted enough to the right, Gigi’s Tree is getting more attention than your tree. Lavinia’s, Susan’s and Teagan’s trees are lined up on the right. Thanks, Resa.
Do you grind your teeth when you sleep? I do. My old dentist tried to get me to wear mouth pieces at night. I couldn’t deal with them. I’ve broken teeth on weird things like bread, but so far not in my sleep.
At first glance I thought the trees were on fire and had to quickly click to see the larger shot – no harm to the trees, just a gorgeous red sky.
Should have taken warning
It’s just people mourning, running, hiding, lost
Couldn’t find, find a place to go
So it’s red skies at night, red skies at night

I agree Lavinia – Tim always, always brings us the beauty of the skies.
Thanks, Rebecca.
Yes, he does! 🙂
Beautiful images
Especially the portrait of moon and venus hanging there in an amazing sky.
The gray bodied and crimson caps look gracious in flight.
Thanks, abvr.
You are welcome Timothy
Gorgeous pics, Tim.
Thanks, Jeff. Nice to see you again.
I agree, Shey. Sometimes I feel that I have travelled to another planet, when I see Tim’s “sky” photos.
If you came here and experienced our dry desert conditions, you might definitely think you are on another planet. Thanks, Rebecca.
every single one a treasure.
Thanks, Shey.
The hot air balloon shot is fabulous….enjoy your Monday:)
Thanks, Janet.
Beautiful skies.
Thanks, Couriers.
Oh, the colors in the first and last photos! I love the moving crescent moon effect.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Underlined slice of Moon beautifully slicing.
Cranes have such a great view.
The cranes get the best view. Thanks, Marina.
Love how you did that, Tim. Did that balloonist not know when the dates for the festival were? Is he early or late? 😉

That makes sense.
Hahahahah! Was nipply out there, was it?
I figured as such and you know I was joshing…
Of course, I knew you were Daling, uh! Joshing me, but I had to get a nip slip in there.
You know it. And of course you did 😉

Thanks for your wonderful comment, Rebecca.

Thanks, Cindy.
Wow.
Thanks, Cindy.
I like the animation of the moon moving through the con-trail.
Thanks, Brad.
Beautiful collage of photos – love all the colors!!!
Thanks, Samantha.
The silver moon on the pink sky is delightful.

Cool! I need all trees from AGM’s. Thanks!!!
You tree and Gigi’s tree are getting the most attention at the moment.
I couldn’t be happier!
Well … about trees at this moment.
If I hadn’t broken a tooth in my sleep a few nights ago, I’d be happier about that! xx

I grind and clench.
I’ve broken 5 in my sleep. Not over 1 night, but over the years. They eventually fracture horizontally below the gum line. UCH!
LOL! I’ve bitten through many mouth guards, and broke one in half.
A gorgeous collection. Plus I love seeing the cranes. Hugs.
Thanks, Teagan.

Like The Crazy World of Arthur Brown?

Fire, I’ll take you to burn
Fire, I’ll take you to learn
I’ll see you burn”
