The lonesome tomato

Sun over sunflowers

Whispy clouds

Sandias. Note: The water ponded at the opening of the flood control channel came from rain 20 miles west of Corrales. Corrales didn’t get a drop of rain.

Sunset

Night sky looking southeast.

These images remind me of so many good times. The sunflowers especially bring forth so many wonderful memories.
Thanks, Susan. So many good memories.
Same as it ever was, as in, paradise beauty as it ever was… sigh!
I’m trying to picture David Byrne palming his forehead while saying “Beauty as it ever was!” Thanks, Marina.
A ha haaaaa…. I can hear him!
We saw Stop Making Sense in 1984 in Don Pancho’s Theater across from the university. Don Pancho’s is long gone. “Same as it ever was!” persists.
What a treat!
“Same as it ever was!”… indeed!
Liz took my words! Just as I take all your colors with joy, likewise with Blue! 💙
ah the clouds take to the sky indeed on that second last one. Lovely pics.
Thanks, Shey.
Lovely photos. The cotton candy sky at the beginning was gorgeous!
Have a beautiful Sunday!
Thanks, Nancy. You too.
I LOVE the first wispy clouds and the purple Sandias. I can’t believe I had to look up “the same as it was” to remember it was done by the Talking Heads.
“A long, long time ago, I can still remember…” David Byrne palming his forehead. “Same as it ever was” goes back almost 40 years. Amazing to think about. Laurie and I saw “Stop Making Sense” in a little art theater called Don Pancho’s across from the university in 1984. That theater is long gone. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. It is hard to believe that the song goes back almost 40 years.
Bright flowers. I liked the “dancing fairies” in the sky photo.
I’m happy you noticed the fairies! Thanks, Brad.
Your photography always leaves me in awe. I am totally in love with the whispy clouds!
I loves those little whisps whispering sweet nothings. Thanks, Dale.
That’s exactly it, Tim 🙂
A visual feast of skies and flowers, Tim. I particularly love that wispy clouds photo. It is like looking into the ocean depths and seeing all these waving, wispy ghosts.
Thanks, Lavinia.
More of the same ol’, same ol’?
WP had been overhauling the admin pages with all of the settings, along with the Reader (adding comments). So, you may want to check through your settings (pain-in-the-ass work). They’ve also been messing with the follower/subscriber list too. I don’t know if they’re finished with their messing around … probably not.
The same as it ever was. Sunrises, sunsets, flowers and insects.
It’s amazing all the different ways WP finds to annoy users. I checked all the settings. They looked like they should, but I tweaked a couple of settings. Thanks, Deborah.
The wispy clouds are wonderful.
They are. Thanks, Susan.
Same as it ever was but it sure looks pretty
Same pretty as it ever was. Thanks, JYP.
A lot of same must be going around.
For sure. Thanks, Danzig.
Ah a fine song …! Same as it ever was! Top shots Tim
Thanks, Julie.
You are sky spoiled!
Now I feel bad for the lonely tomato.
Will someone eat it, please!! xx
The tomato was delish. Thanks, Resa.
Thank goodness you put it out of its misery! xx
