Jupiter In Trees

Rio Grande and Sandias at dusk.

A silhouetted D-Wowl flies off into the sunset.

    • I have a lot of light polution from Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. But the brighter stars and planets shine through. Thanks, Rudi.

  1. I enjoyed your sunset series, Tim. Good to see D-Wowl again, too.

Things cleared a bit overnight, and I saw the bright thin crescent moon. Becoming increasingly overcast again here this morning. It is forecast to start raining around noon.

  2. Just stunning, Tim. The light off the Sandia’s is out of this world, nearly as much as the Jupiter shots. Great work, as always.

  3. Love the first shot, Tim! Is the water in the Rio Grande back up to normal levels?
I can’t remember ever seeing Jupiter in real life.
D-Owl…. nice! When will he be looking fora nest?

    • I don’t know on the nest. Water is fairly normal for this time of year after all the rain. Thanks, Resa.
