Blue ice in abstractia

Have you ever had an urge to stick your tongue on a frosted pipe?

Spunk Marble and Jake. The first time Spunk and Marbled dared to stay in the same room with Jake for more and a few passing seconds.

Cranes in the field at sunset

The cranes flew over to the Rio Grande to roost.

I particularly love the two cranes photo. No, can’t say as I’ve ever had the urge to stick my tongue on a frosted pipe.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
I’m disappointed in myself for having to google The Enterprise (I was focusing on the other cloud).
The blue ice pics are all gorgeous!
I think I’ve only encountered frozen poles/pipes in businesses. In the wild.. yes, A Christmas Story makes me curious about the pain… so long as there’s warm water nearby to help unstick!
The Enterprise’s number is not something you normally have at the tip of your tongue. Speaking of needing something warm to get your tongue off a frosted pole, here’s a story for you. I don’t know if this is true, but I read about a guy and his girlfriend who were stuck in an icy traffic jam. The girl needed to pee badly, so her boyfriend suggested she open both doors and squat between the open doors. So she did, but she squatted too close to the car, and her butt stuck to the icy metal of the rocker panel. Her boyfriend peed on her to get her unstuck. Thanks, Leenda.
I LOVE that story!!
I thought you might.
Awesome ice images Tim. Was the ice that color or did you enhance it?
It was pretty close to that color. Thanks, Brad.
well done pussycats – you’ll get there…
They are getting brave with Jake. Thanks, Couriers.
We are surrounded by humid misty grey outside around here, so it makes me happier to see your amazing colours now!
Happy to have colors for you. Thanks, Heidi.
Dear Timothy
We like your blue frost pictures. Unfortunately, we haven’t had any frost here this autumn until now.
Enjoy the winter
The Fab Four of Cley
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks, Fab Four.
Tongue on frosted pipe? No. Not since the Christmas Story! Trauma!🤣
What great pictures!
Thanks, Becky.
Blue ice. Epic.
Thanks, Shey.
Wow! You got some really cool shots, Tim, I love the Blue ice in abstractia!😍
I always feel like a kid whenever I see your posts. I mean… look at those images!
Blue ice?! How?
And how resilient my Incognito Tree is!
Blues ice reflecting blue skies. Thanks, Marina.
now, why didn’t I think of that! 🤔
These are wonderful photos, Tim. I particularly like the blue ice puddle.
I think it might have gotten to the freezing point here last night. However, three different weather outlets gave three wildly different reports… stating the temperature at 7:30 AM as anywhere from 28 to 41 degrees. That happens a lot. Have a good new week. Hugs.
You need your own outdoor thermometer. The whether widgets rarely get it right for us. Thanks, Teagan.
yes, the blue ice photos are stunning —
Thanks, John.
Beautiful photographs. Love them.
Thanks, Gigi.
😊
Today’s post shows how big your tree is.
“…Abstractia” 😁
I like it too. Thanks, Dawn.
Each picture as beautiful as the next. How’s my tree doing, Tim?💗
Thanks, Cindy.
Hi Timothy, these ice pictures are amazing. I love the colours.
Thanks, Robbie.
I love all these photos, Tim. The sheer beauty you find and capture is food for the soul. Your “Blue ice in abstractia” and icy leaf are my favorites in this set. The icy leaf one brought to mind Kirlian photography.
So Spunk and Marble are getting used to Jake, just a little?
Thanks, Lavinia. Spunk and Marble are missing meals because of him anymore. But they still don’t like him.
What a bluetiful post!
Thanks Tim! xx
Hahahaha! You are so witty. You’re welcome, Resa.
Thank you, Tim!! xo
Beautiful colors!
Loving the kitties and the cranes! No I have never thought about sticking my tongue on a frosted pipe …lol
Do you get frosted pipes in your area? Thanks, Julie.
No way to frosted pipes in auckland .. lol
I see the kitties are warming up to their new bunkmate. Pretty soon they will be scheduling Bunco night.
They think having a dawg is about as dumb as a game of Bunco. Thanks, Brian.
