Dawn
The above video is of Laurie, the cat herder, doing her daily routine of feeding the cow cats their grass (there is music with the video).
You can listen to the complete song at https://soundcloud.com/user-334086053/two-stepping-to-nowhere.
Laurie, the cat herder, with two of our cow cats.
Mallard Ducks being silly gooses.
Our baby, volunteer, cottonwood.
Walter looked grumpy, and Willa was half asleep in the morning sun.
Nora Owl look positively happy this morning. She was half-asleep with one eye closed. She must have had a good TGIF owl night out with Osric last night. I think she wore out Osric. He was nowhere to be seen.
Dandelion blossoms
It was cloudy and raining most of the afternoon into the evening.
Hi Tim, a fun song, I like the music. Your pictures are fabulous.
Thanks, Roberta. I’m happy you liked the song. You can listen to the song at https://soundcloud.com/user-334086053/two-stepping-to-nowhere. It’s a funny song.
Thanks for the link.
All very cool for cats I’d say, the song especially.
Hahaha… so hilarious… cow cats…!! Scientists will be very amazed…
The cow cat phenomena is amazing. G&G are so insistent of getting their grass. Thanks, Herman.
Love the video, music cow cats and the beautiful Laurie:). We have very cloudy and rain here…nothing new:)
We had clouds and rain on and off most of the day. Thanks, Janet. BTW, if you to here the song complete, you can listen to it at https://soundcloud.com/user-334086053/two-stepping-to-nowhere. It’s humorous.
Thank you:)
That is happiness all round: beautiful Laurie, happy kitties and you singing!
Owls and blossoms agree! Not to mention the painter!
A lot of adorableness with Laurie and the cow cats. That might make a good band name. Thanks, Marina.
I love it! I hope to hear more!
Skies, The amazing owl family (Well, all bar one), my favourite Mallards, Laurie with… is it G and G in their being cared for and spoilt?, a video, can’t hear it of course, but love the contents, perfected with witty comments. Brilliant!
Our cats are really spoiled, and have us trained very well. You did miss anything not hearing the music on the video. It was more for filler. Thanks, Inchie.
Great to see Laurie looking after the masters of the household. My Cyril ruled the roost, too. Haha!
You know how carts are.
I certainly do, mate.
Really liked the morning sky Tim. And the owl family updates.
Thanks, Brad.
When I pull weeds I always leave a few bunches of grass for Shady to chew on, they are not strictly carnivores! Another clever and funny song Tim!
Thanks, Tiffany. You know cats and cow cats.
Seems like critters catch your fancy a lot Tim.
All critters all the time. Thanks, Brad.
Laurie is amazing as a “cat herder”. This is a very difficult task and can only be undertaken by the most courageous. Tim – you always have a way of recording music that is perfect for every occasion. By the way, I have never heard the term before: “cow cats”. I learn something new every time I stop by.
Thanks, Rebecca. I don’t know if anyone else has cat’s that demand grass, but G & G do, so I call them cow cats. It’s probably not commonly used. Thanks, Rebecca.
You have very special kitties!!!
I got such a kick out of the silly goose ducks and the morning-after owls!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Such a fun post. Too funny that Laurie gives your cow cats their grass.
Love the owl family shots, of course. Mallards are always a joy and your skies are just gorgeous.
Thanks, Dale.
Wonderful!
Thanks, Gigi.
The cats are fabulous, the owlets adorable.
The owlets are so cute. Thanks, Gigi.
A great series from sunrise to evening, Tim. I like that little blue porthole in the clouds! I love the photo of Laurie with the kitties going for their grass! Happy kitties, and Laurie has a beautiful smile.
Those little owlets are growing fast!
Thanks, Lavinia.
admirable view us too
I love the shots of those mallards being mallards. Ours like to “play” as well. Yes, Laurie and the Cow Cats is definitely a band name worthy of consideration.
Puddle ducks are fun. Thanks, Bruce.
LOVE the cow cats video!!!
Omg, the cats look so thrilled.
Nora with one eye closed is a winner! Thank s Tim!
The cats are so funny, and super spoiled. Thanks, Resa.
Cats should be spoiled. They seem to flourish in it.
They love being spoiled and training us how to wait on the hand and foot.
Dogs have owners.
Cats have staff!
xo
Cats have servants.
I like the fluffy pink sandals! Looks like you have some hanky panky going on with some of those Mallards – some mamma Mallards gonna have some explaining to do. Nora had a rough night up with the kids apparently, I can see Osric stumbling in all drunk like and getting the riot act.
Laurie loves those sandals. What’s one to do with diddling duckies? I’m sure Osric gets plenty of verbal pelting. Thanks, Brian.
Oh they are loving that grass! So good seeing Laurie … And the owls, growing up!
Thanks, Julie.
Hahaha… cow cats… Hugs.
Mooeow! Thanks, Teagan.
