Lots of fab birds (owls hanging out???)and flight path things and nature’s beauty going on in this post.
I especially love the migrating cows. lol
I’ve got 3 Tangle-Hearts in the new Gowntoons post out on Saturday, I believe. xx
Those cows are burros, but they do have a bovine look to them. Laurie took them as cows at first glance. I’m looking forward to your post. Thanks, Resa.
Hahahaha! I can’t even tell a burrow from a cow. I should be wearing a City Slicker sticker.
Laurie only missed it from a glance. I was staring at the pic, admiring the cows.
For along time, having had to clumb half way up a hill we never meant to climb, the four of us sat on a ledge contemplating our food supplies and the embarrassment of phoning mountain resuce out as the cows and bulls called in reinforcements but there we, we managed to outwit them ourselves.
I’m happy you out witted the beasts as bovine are not the brightest critters in the animal kingdom. But if they were smart enough to call in reinforcements, you were in a serious pickle.
Well, we always thought like that they were not very bright and we thought those who ahd been trampled to death them must not have been very bright either. But seeing them that day….well…? They were calling to each other to block us at every turn. We’d never seen anything like it actually. Fortunately we’ve done a lot of hills in our time so it was possible to skeck a posible way out but even that was tricky and to the last one of them was still bellowing away to its mates and they were on the move too.
Yeah. The thing was my cousin was convinced his wife and I were kidding him as he bravely marched along this trench to the gate that there was no way this bull was gonna let him through. And that was just the start. . . .
Typical man behavior.
Lol. You never saw anyone get up the side of a six foot trench so fast …
Plane and the moon – spectacular photo … much as I love all wildlife and especially bird photos. 🙂
You do it over and over again. You pack your posts with incredible photos. The contrail going over the moon… WOW!
And of course the Owls…
I can’t pick any favorites. They are all outstanding!
Okay, I now see that they are burrows.
These are very sneaky burrows. They are adorable. I love cows and burrows, so this makes them double loveable.
Really, a good Valentine’s burrow. x
A beautiful set of images, Tim, each evoking a sense of serenity and all is right in the world, except for the collection of cell towers on top of the Sandias. I guess they have to go somewhere! The material to build them must have been brought in by helicopter?
…not at all lonesome though! 😉 Riding that jet plane just to sit on the Moon and then ride with the cranes, then over to the Owl family tree…and so on!
Landing gear down, coming in for a landing ha. Can you imagine the contrails coming out of Vegas after the superbowl – that must have been crazy. Love the eye shade the Owl on the right is giving the other, made me laugh.

Laurie said even staring at them they look like cows. They are wearing cow colors, which is not common on burros
Thanks! I need to look again!
Birds and colors galore. Owls look like they are either stalking something or protecting something. Babies coming hopefully❣️
Owls are always on the watch. Thanks, Cindy.
I’m imagine so.. you’re so welcome, Tim❣️
I am glad to hear the cows aren’t cows… after a little experience witha herd of them and bulls while out on hills one day…. Seriously, lovely pics.
I’ve had some interesting encounters with bulls in the wild. Thanks, Shey.
I thought you might have. it took us 3 hours to get out of that mess…..
I can imagine.
LOl…

Apparently they were quite brill when it came to blocking and trampling people. They were brilliant at being vicious bovine.

We get so much flight traffic out here even the moon gets in the way. Thanks, Cee Tee.
I love these moon shots…..always lovely to think that we are all looking at the same moon wherever we are:)
It sure is. Thanks, Janet.

Beautiful ombre skies!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
That plane and crescent shot. Wow! 🤩
Thanks, Michele.
Welcome, Tim.

They are silly. Burros are a lot of fun. They can be ornery. We had an ornery burro named Cisco when I was a kid.
Nice memory! xx
What Michele said! 🙂
Thanks, Brad.

The burrows have interesting coat patterns.
You can drive up to the towers on the east side of the mountains. Thanks, Lavinia.
Somewhere in those paths you’ll see me too! Will be flying about for awhile!
Leaving on a jet plane? Do you know when you’ll be back again? Thanks, Marina.
There’s so much wonder over at your place, I wouldn’t know for how long!
Ah! So like the song, you don’t know when you’ll be back again!
…not at all lonesome though! 😉 Riding that jet plane just to sit on the Moon and then ride with the cranes, then over to the Owl family tree…and so on!
The owls well camouflaged.. and love the crescent Moon photo…. 🙂
You would think cottonwoods were made especially for owls. Thanks, Sue.
A perfect hide out for them xx
You have such a knack for being at the right place at the right time! Cupid … are you not supposed to aim for hearts instead of the moon?
Those jets go for everything out here. Thanks, Dale.
I can see that!
Great shot of the jet stream and moon!
Thanks, Randall.

Must have been a Vegas sight to see. The owls are a hoot! Thank, Brian.
