pTer is definitely giving you the eye, Tim! What a lovely series, with cranes, coyote, Sandia and clouds. That is a serious explosion of clouds in those last two photos. Have you had sufficient winter rain so far this year? We got a brief small hail storm yesterday with the sun shining from the south and a beautiful rainbow to the northeast.
We have not received a lot of rain on our property, but much more that last year. I think the mountains up north have been getting snow, so that will help with filling the river for irrigation water.
Now THAT’S a closeup!
Ahhh… so our Wile E. likes you to take his picture whereas this one was more of a chicken.
I particularly love the one with the cranes in the bottom, the trees with the firey tops and the orange sky.
Fantastic, again.
Thanks, Heidi.
Love that blurred image of the heron in flight. 🙂
He was so close I hardly fit him in the frame. Thanks, Cee Tee.
All wonderful but that first one blows my mind:)
Thanks, Janet.
All epic but that 2nd one is like a painting.
Thanks, Shey. Barely fit him in the frame he was so close when he flew.
It is an epic pic actually. total eye-catcher.
Eye! Eye! Captain.
LOL
I love the orange-infused photos.
The light was super orange last night. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Spectacular photos Timothy. So beautiful 🤩
Thanks, Holly.
My pleasure indeed!
I’m just here gazing at your photography. All are so beautiful. The first one is outstanding. ❤️
Thanks, Nancy.

Thanks, Lavinia. We had a pretty good hailstorm on Wednesday. Clear and 47 today. Snow is forecast for tomorrow. We’ll see.

What a look!
Thanks, Brad.
Tim, that’s an amazing closeup. I love the movement shot too. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs.
Thanks, Teagan. You too.
One picture better than the other… wow!
I love the feathery capture of pTer flying off but then I love all of them!
Wait, what? Not our Wile E.?
Not Wile E. He would not run off like that. Thanks, Marina.
Now THAT’S a closeup!

wow, lots of action for Wile E. and us. so fabulous.. was he chasing his feather friends or was he scared?❣️
That wasn’t Wile E. It was another coyote runny away from me. Wile E. simply keeps his distance. Thanks, Cindy.
Oh gotcha. Right.. 🙏🏼💕
Great close-up, Tim.
Thinking about it, most of your posts give us a close up of nature in an entirety.
Thank you!
(Well, whose Wile E. is it?)xx
Just a random coyote. There are lots of coyotes, but only one Wile E. who likes to hang out close to us. Thanks, Resa.
Cool, you have a Wile E. xx
He’s a cool coyote.
Wonderful photos as always!
Thanks, Julie.
I see you have some Wigeons down there. Their Hyena laugh calls always make me laugh – like they’ve been sucking on helium all day ha!
We do have Wigeons wigging out on helium. Thanks, Brian.
