With the time change, the moon and Venus were high in the sky by the time I get out to photograph them. I happy the clouds were only whisps when I went out. Thanks, Dale.
Such a pleasure to have the planetary photos here, Timothy. And that color on the Sandias–as I was scrolling down to your final photo I heard myself gasp. Stunning!
Thanks for the reminder. I remembered you used some wonderful word recently to describe the color, so I looked up what Sandia means…ah, yes, watermelon. Super.
Thanks, Marina. The channel should be dry except for when it rains. The wastewater from Rio Rancho continues to back up n the channel. I think the channel where the wastewater is runs into the river is blocked up with debris, but the willows and salt cedar are so dense, I couldn’t get close enough to that part of the channel to see what’s making the wastewater backup into the channel.
BTW we finally got a bit of the rain you sent. It took a slow boat from Greece via China I’m guessing.
The moon gets thinner and thinner. Glad to hear you got some rain, too. That shot of the Sandias is stunning! You get some beautiful colors down there, Tim.
A partly cloudy morning up here. 39 degrees at dawn, mists rising and getting ready to float away as cloud.
YES! Every comment but 2. Then I had one normal, then one with the selection buttons. It’s so annoying.
I even got it one my own blog when I answered a comment!
Love the tiny crescent in the first, like a hidden smile only for those able to see it.
That reflection is gorgeous.

So kind of them to accomodate you!
Yep! Clouds are usually not accommodating, as you know.
I do! I just looked for the hell of it outside. A bizarre yellow starless sky
Are the gods whizzing on the clouds?
They’re being the brats they can often be!
We got 400th of an inch of whizz this morning.
It was measurable? That’s ridiculous!
A measurable wee whizz it was.
A Wee whizz whizzed over the way!
Now we have snow mixed with the whizz! Weeeee!
It’s a Fizzy Whizz!
Kinda like a WYSIWYG!
Yaya!!
She loves it! Ya ya ya!
💃🏻
Wow! The the sky and moon looks like a scene from an anime! So pretty!
Thanks, Becky
You are welcome 🤗
Soft, silky, a real loud yellow dawn
Absolutely Stunning
Thanks, abvr.
The dawn colours are stunning.
Thanks, Couriers.
That sunset is stunning. What a capture of a moment.
Thanks, Shey.

Thanks, Janet.
Dawn and sunset are so beautiful!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Such a pleasure to have the planetary photos here, Timothy. And that color on the Sandias–as I was scrolling down to your final photo I heard myself gasp. Stunning!
Thanks, Jet. That’s the reason its called Sandia.
Thanks for the reminder. I remembered you used some wonderful word recently to describe the color, so I looked up what Sandia means…ah, yes, watermelon. Super.
Moon, Venus & Sandias…all so happy. I hope you don’t mind while I indulge on that sunset!
Also happy the channel is gradually filling up!
Thanks, Marina. The channel should be dry except for when it rains. The wastewater from Rio Rancho continues to back up n the channel. That was a very slow boat indeed!

New Moon on the 13th. 37 and raining this morning. Rain mixed with snow mid-morning. Thanks, Lavinia.
Your photos take my breath away, Tim!!!
Thanks, Rebecca.
Ditto what Rebecca wrote! That last one, wow!
Thanks, Michele.
Spectacular photos Timothy, it’s always great to get a glimpse of that gorgeous region you call home.
Thanks, Holly.
What a gorgeous view and your pictures are exquisite, Tim!💕
Thanks, Cindy.
Witnessed them yesterday morning. Truly a sight. 🌟🌙
They are beautiful together. Thanks, IM.
Gorgeous sunset, the mountains are spectacular! xxx
(Are you getting this big ass box after you leave a comment that says “never Miss a Beat… something like that. What now?)
I have not gotten the big ass beat box. Did you get beat boxed on your comment here? Thanks, Resa.
YES! Every comment but 2. Then I had one normal, then one with the selection buttons. It’s so annoying.

Maybe you tripped a setting spasmatic!
I dunno.. WP can be exhausting. xx
To say the least.
Maybe you tripped a setting spasmatic!
Wow… how can you not be satisfied with bookends like this for the day? You live in a part of the world that is like a dream – congratulations 🙂
We live in the Land of Enchantment. Thanks, Randall.
Pretty shocking colors in that last shot, had to catch my breadth for a second.
The old watermelon mountains chameleoning from blue-gray to watermelon red. You may or may not know Sandia means watermelon in Spanish. Thanks, Brian.
Oh wow that is what I call a reflection! Superb ..
Thanks, Julie.
