Dawn anticipates the violence of the sun
Contrails mark the night sky as they are blown, and reshaped into apparitions.
The beaver moon shining bright, and full of itself, rises in anticipation of becoming a bloody beaver moon in the wee hours of the morning†.
The above photo is only representative of the blood moon that will happen almost 8 hours after this post’s posting.
†There will be a full eclipse of the moon in the wee hours of the morning on 11/8/22 that will be visible from my location starting at 1:00 am. The full eclipse will be at 3:59 am. The moon will set before the eclipse ends at 6:56, close to sunrise.

I went to try and catch the moon rising over the Sandias, and instead of turning off the stabilization on the lens, I turned the focus from auto to manual. I got real talent. At least you got some pretty shots.

Early in a morning about 03 am a moon was so beautiful but I was so sleepy to picture it, just saw it from a bed and slept 😊

Nothing spectacular like 2015. There were a lot of clouds, which make it interesting in some ways. I seemed to have gotten enough sleep.

Amazing sky photos! We had clear skies here so I was able to see the eclipse clearly. I didn’t even have to go outside in the cold this morning.
Thanks, Brad. That’s great you got a clear view out of the cold. We had a lot of cloud cover. I got the blood moon almost fully eclipsed at 3:40 am, but at 4:00 am it was completely covered by clouds. Here are a couple of past blood moon series:
