  1. A beautiful series, starting with that view of the Sandias and the clouds reflecting in the river. It’s overcast and raining up here tonight. The forecast doesn’t look good for tomorrow either I hope they are wrong!

  2. Tim, I thought you had an extensive background in photography with the high quality of photos on blog posts. I love the named trees. I know mine doesn’t get good sunset coverage so I may not see it in a post. Say hello for me when you are in its area. Merry Christmas to you & family. 🎄🎶 Christine

    • Hi Christine. Unfortunately, your tree is to the north in the middle of the bosque. I have not been walking up north lately because the cranes have been roosting to the south. But things always change and I’ll end up going north again.

      • I found the post 1/20/20, Trees for Christine & Nancy, & pic of my Juniper tree on your site. It still looks sturdy & makes a bold statement. I noticed a young cottonwood pic that may not be named. Maybe too little, sparse and passed over? If it didn’t catch anyone’s eye, can I have it. I’m very good supporting the growth of young ones—I have three great-grandkids. 😊 If it’s taken I’ll just keep it in my thoughts as it grows up! Merry Christmas to you & family, including cats, critters & trees. 🎄🎶 Christine

  3. Eve of Conjunction … why am I reminded of the bad sci-fi movie Eve of Destruction??? (Eve was a killer military android.)
