It’s always fun to see the cats, dog, and bird, and that they seem to all get along so well. Also that is a pretty neat book holder! 🙂
The book holder is great. It’s made of bamboo. The cats and Jake tolerate Belafonte because Belafonte is a little terror and thinks he’s a tough little bird. He attacks the cats and Jake. They go along with his grand illusion of being a tough guy bird. Belafonte seems clueless about the fact that anyone of them could take him out with one good swat. Thanks, Barbara.

Bird brain is actually a compliment. I watched a bird figure out how to get a twig, a length 3 x times its body width & 2½ times its nest’s width into a hole in some siding. Something like that, it was amazing!
Thanks, Dawn. Sounds like a crow or raven figuring out a problem. They are especially good at problem-solving. Belafonte is good at problem-solving and is pesky about it.

Nice to get some rain, Tim. We are doing the same here. The Nor’easter didn’t pack a big punch for us, but the cloudy and cool conditions with the much needed rain we are getting will help us out in the long run. Loki and Silver look like they are very deep in thought.

All our birds have terroristic tendencies. Beaker is old and tired, so he’s a retired terrorist. Søren stays in his room and cusses at us. He won’t let me handle him, but I’m working on him to let me scratch his head and beak. Belefonte is young and handleable, so he can exercise his full terroristic tendencies on all the cats, Jake, and us.
LOl… well at east the birds are special, and beautiful!
