Sunrise

We met the three coyotes on the levee again this morning.

Loki: “Psst! Marble! You really don’t want to eat that cheese. Il paparazzo had his filthy paws on it, you know!”

Gwendolyn

NCC-1701 disguised as a cloud

Purple mountains and water at sunset tonight.
Those yotes are getting quite close. Love the clouds.
They do get close. Thanks, Cindy.
Lovely
Thanks, Shey.
Gorgeous sunrise and sunset to cap another day of family adventures.
Thanks, Brad.
Another beautiful set of photo selections, Tim. Gene Roddenberry would have been proud of that cloud!
Thanks, Lavinia. Did I ever tell you I went to hear Roddenberry talk in 1978? I was expecting a real visionary. He was a total tool of Hollywood. So disappointing.
I’ve only ever seen James Doohan and Michael Dorn in person and was not disappointed.
Hollywood has had, and still does have, its unique problems, and to some extent people are all tools of whomever or whatever organization pays their bills. I never met Roddenberry, but do consider him a visionary who left the world with an incredible legacy, and spawned a lot of imagination and creativity in the generations to follow.
Listening to him talk, you might not think of him as much of a visionary. I believe he might have gotten a lot of credit for other people’s visions of the future. I may be too hard on him, but he left me cold.
You thought was you thought at the time. That is valid.
Beam me up Scotty… I had to Google NCC-1701. Those sunrise clouds are particularly splendid. Thanks for the cat pics. Hugs.
The only reason I know it is because I know a woman who painted her minivan the colors of the USS Enterprise and had NCC-1701 on each side and the back of the car. Thanks, Teagan.
Okay, that does it! Kitties, flowers, coyotes, painter clouds, lavender Sandias and now a visit from James T.?! That’s too much!
It’s all a bit overwhelming. Thanks, Marina.
Love the cats! That cloud is the perfect hiding place.
It is, but it still gives it away. Thanks, Dan.
Your coyotes look very healthy! Lovely photos.
They do look healthy. Thanks, Dawn.
Stunning cloudscapes, particularly the first one. As for the cheeze-off, nice try, Loki. Marble is not having any of it.
Marble held her cheese ground. Thanks, Liz.
I figured she did! You’re welcome, Tim.
Wonderful pics, Tim.. the coyotes don’t seem interested in you! 💕
Thanks, Cindy.
Such loveliness in your neck of the woods.
Those coyotes are getting a wee bit close.
Thanks, Dan. The coyotes are curious, but don’t bother.
The coyotes were eyeing you for dinner. 🤣
They were close 😱 I suppose they weren’t scared of you
They are curious. I think they had more fear than Jake and I. Thanks, Beck.
Everything is so green and lovely. Beautiful, Tim. xx
Is that a coyote family?
It might be a coyote family. I can’t say for sure. Thanks, Resa.
Such a beautiful sunrise and lilies. We hear coyotes at night sometimes but have never seen them out on a walk.
Thanks, Rebecca. We see them and hear them.
Gwendolyn is so beautiful …
Hmm, looks like those Coyotes are “packing” up, food must be getting sparser or hard to capture for the lones one. The war parties have been out around us, you can hear them yipping and howling between each other while hunting our woods and the nearby fields.
“lone ones”
The drought is hard on everyone. Thanks, Brian.
