Venus @ Dawn
Walked out in the rain to see the cranes
In the Tangle Heart Tree sat the pTer
Near the pTer, Daddy Owl had a few words to share
Top of the day to ya! Wile E Coyote seemed to say while sitting on the levee
Eyes turned to the cry of a crane catching up with its cronies
Rio Grande reflected clouds and cranes in the rain

Beautiful.
Thanks, Gigi.
All wonderful! Love when Wile E. makes an appearance.
Thanks, Michele.
Sorry, Wile E… but the crane in the tree is my favorite. But cheer up. You’ll get your chance to howl in harmony with the Winter Moon. 😉
Wonderful shots, Tim. Hugs.
Hopefully the winter moon will be able to make an appearance. It’s been cloudy. Thanks, Teagan.
They all look like not amused about the weather, but appear as beautiful models for your lens.
I hadn’t thought about the critters not liking the weather, but since it’s sunny here most of the time, they probably aren’t keen on cloudy weather either. Thanks, Heidi.
Cranes Wowls & Coyotes…..what is not to like?
Venus @ Dawn Walked out in the rain to see the cranes – awesome opening statement
What a wonderful time spent at the Rio Grande graced by the pTer; good to see the watchful eye of the Daddy Owland that wild coyote’s thoughtful greeting.
All the critters say hi! Thanks, abvr.
Oh thank you, say hello to all the be(a)sties from me too
Thanks, Shey.
Good morning. You really do live in a wonderful area….surrounded by beautiful wildlife and the skies are to die for…as we say over here:). Thank you
The land of enchantment. You are welcome, Janet.
What a wonderful poem about life in your backyard, so to speak. Beautiful photos!
Thanks, Dale.
A wealth of Nature and her call of the Wild.. Wonderful photos Tim.. 🙂
Thanks, Sue.
Great acrostic poem and accompanying photos!
Happy you noticed that the poem is acrostic. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim!
The bosque and river are teeming with life. All my favorite things here, Tim, including the Sandias and Rio Grande. I had to look up “acrostic”.
Very nice Tim.
Fine acrostic odeing, there, Tim. Amazing shots, Daddy Owls get to be my favourite, the ghostly crowds that got me pareidoliaing, a close second. Cheers, Sir.
W I N T E R in P A R A D I S E!
Normally with those odds I would say the Cranes have the advantage in that second shot, but I know Geese and my money is on the Goose!
Thanks, Brian.
Lovely post Mr Price!
Thanks, Ms. Julie.
Just a stunning display my friend and lovely words as well. That pTerodactyl is sitting on the top of that tree with such radiance like a crowned jewel for the evening of all the beauty surrounding it. Thank you Tim.
Thanks, Joni.
