  1. Yes, a shape-shifty day. The cirrus clouds this morning looked like dunes. There was an Eurasian Wigeon at the Nature Center (quite rare here).

  2. They are the most articulate shapeshifters since the job of the cloud is to tell a story so they can’t afford to hang around in one form for to long. Even a split second matters to them.

  3. Love your new header!
Great shots and fabulous skies. Ours were hiding a dumping of snow, apparently as that is what I woke up to. Dang. I wasn’t ready.
Wow. Blue Boa is 23 years old! That is amazing.

  4. All these are so beautiful. I love the clouds in photo 5. Can’t recall what that sort is called, but Blue is a masterpiece. She looks so sweet & inquisitive too. You captured that so well.

          • Thanks, Timothy. Overwhelmed, but okay. Husband, Murph, & I have been busy when able outside with siding & porch roof redo. Had to travel twice, & I’ve tried to keep Muph happy at the glass sliding door while I’m working in the basement. Since the “water-proofing,” I get to sanitize every pole & cranny of the metal beams & more. I have already torn down stupid walls & studs erected for a tiny craft room by the previous owners & so much more. Murph had a fit of hiccups last night. They say they can’t hiccup. I say they can, and he did. It meant something was spasming, so I laid him on the heating pad to relax it & he stopped. Blue has kept her youthful glow, we see, and how are you, family & kitties?

            • You sound terribly busy. Did you get a new house? I missed it if you posted on a new house or major change. Happy you got Murph over his hiccups. It’s crazy what these critters can do. Blue shed recently, so she is all glisteny.

              • We moved here in 2019. I think one post mentioned it. If you missed it, it’s probably the only one😄. This & the house next door were moved from a few corners away & placed atop basements. Our 91 year old neighbor has a black & white photo of one of them heading this way! The owners before us lived here 47 years. I’ve had to undo every decorating aspect they did.🤢And, we continue to find fire hazards. So far, so good.
It really is crazy what they can do. Has Blue ever hiccuped, burped, sneezed, or farted?😆 Is everyone there alright?

  5. You got some good cloud patterns all day long! Those are beautiful cloud photos, Tim, especially the ones over the Sandias.

It’s good to see Blue again. She is a beautiful boa, and I think she knows it. She has posed very nicely for your there against the wood. The two do make an nice “A”. That is a great composition and is my favorite today. How old is Blue now?

Elle Rose is beautiful too, and she knows it. What a lovely pink rose and green leaves against the dark background! She looks like she is waving her petals to get attention.

    • Yes, that is my snake. Did you see my post on Alice Cooper? He had a snake almost the size of Blue. Thanks, JYP.

  6. The quilting above that crow is dramatic – really like that. I’m just going to take a pass on showing Linda this post, she is still trembling from the handheld picture I showed her earlier hehehe.
