Venus and the sliver moon at dust again.

Sol the orange and black striped beetle: “I love Solstice and having a long day to lounge in the daisies!”

  1. Beautiful, Tim. I especially love the daisy and the night sky looking north. Spunk’s not happy with the longest day. 🙄 Happy Solstice anyway! 😊🎶 Christine

  2. The photos are beautiful, Tim, especially the dandelion seed head composition. The lighting is perfect. Happy Solstice! And I love dear little Spunk in any photo he appears in. 🙂

  3. Spunkie-Poo 💋 sure looks like he doesn’t need a collar in that shot.
That striped beetle is wild looking.
    Great last shot, Tim! xx

    • Thanks, Resa. Spunk is fooling you. That collar is only a few days old. It’s making him lazy.

      • So… as the collar gets old, the pheromones deplete and he gets more wild?
When will Spunkie-Poo 💋 get to stop wearing it? xx

        • I have to change them every 15 to 20 days. He starts attacking the other kitties and running amok like a Berserker kitty. The collars are supposed to work for a month, but not with a wild, psycho, Berserker kitty, like Spunk. I think he will have to wear them forever.

  4. Truly stunning night photos, Timothy. I enjoyed everyone of these photos–cool bug in the daisy (so bright!) and Spunk and their interesting personalities–but the night shots are extraordinary. When I click on them they fill my whole screen with the night. Really great that you live where the night skies shine bright and speak to you. Thanks for sharing them.

    • Thanks, Jet. When I was a kid we could see the Milkyway clearly. Now we only see a few stars and the moon and the planets that are out.

  5. It will be okay Spunk, the long boring days will slowly get shorter now. Just dream of Tim driving you all around on his motorcycle chasing down bunnies.
