It’s been a while since I recorded a new parody. Laurie suggested I write a parody of Elton John’s Benny And The Jets and call it Timmy And The Cats. So I did. And here it is.

Thanks, Susan. Thanks to Elton John’s classic tune having a nice amount of time between downbeats when I was syncing the images and videos. Even so, I used 107 separate images and video clips in the video I repeated some of them.

Thanks, Sue. I’m happy we made you smile. Spunk went into acting mode when we encounter that mouse. It did get away. However, Spunk killed a mouse the next day and brought it to us to prove he is a catly cat. Yes most mice are hibernating now here, but we usually can have two even three brought on our patio as gifts even the occasional rat yuk. but you can’t stop a cat from being a cat.

This is amazing! The video is priceless from the perfect timing of the cat antics photos & video to the literal electric boobs, the lyrics are hysterical and you nailed Elton John. Laurie’s idea was brilliant and your execution was fantastic!
Fortunately I had lots of cat photos and footage to put into the video. I thought a lot about how to do the electric boobs. I almost hired Barbie, but finally decided to go with the neon boobs. Thanks, JYP.
