The photos are beautiful, Tim, especially the dusk composition. Thanks for the moon view. We did see her coming back from the coast last night. Looks like we will have cloudy to partly cloudy evenings the rest if the week.
Aww gee! That’s one scary looking bug.
Crazy that someone once lived in that abode in the middle of nowhere.
You’ve taken some cool shots of rural New Mexico lately! Tanks Tim! xx
Beautiful
Thanks, Holly.

Thanks, Gabriela.
My pleasure πΈπΉ
Beautiful always.
Thanks as always, Jeff.
Youβre welcome, Tim.
What a gorgeous set of photos!
Thanks, Bridgette.
Lovely, Tim. Bookending our Earth between Orion and the Moon.
Squeezing them altogether. Thank’s Mary Jo.
Brilliant sunflower color! Assassin Bug? Is it as threatening as it looks and sounds?
It is to other bugs. Thanks, Michele.
Orion is flying high. I laughed when I read your last line – will probably remember that every time I see a fullish moon now.
I’m happy you got a chuckle out of that line. Thanks, Brian.
The sky god speaks in picture 2. Lovely pics.
Thanks, Shey.
Ein perfekter Moment, die Wanze zu fotografieren!
It’s a really buggy bug too. Thanks, einfachtilda.
Wow, Tim!!! …and there’s an eerie face watching over the nightsky [2]! Orion poses beautifully!
You saw the face. I can always count on you to catch all the sutblties or not-so-subties in this case. Thanks, Marina.
Indeed, not subtle at all! π
But you were cool enough mention it.
These are all stunning! I’d never heard of an assassin bug.
You might nat have any out your way. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Lovely photos!
Thanks, Dawn.
I’ve never heard of assassin bugs. Whom do they typically assassinate? Hopefully not beautiful flowers or paparazzi.
They get most any insect they can grab onto. Fortunately, they don’t tend to go for paparazzi.
Love all your shots and that second one, especially. That blur of “light” that is the moon (I assume…)
No moon. Just a scary face in the clouds. Thanks, Dale.
All the cooler, then!!
The photos are beautiful, Tim, especially the dusk composition. Thanks for the moon view. We did see her coming back from the coast last night. Looks like we will have cloudy to partly cloudy evenings the rest if the week.
It’s realatively clear this morning. But who knows what the afternoon holds. Thanks, Lavinia.
When is the moon not full of itself… Showy space rock
That’s true. Thanks, Craig.
I can’t recall seeing an assassin bug before, Timothy. Beautiful pictures. I especially love the sunflowers.
Thanks, Roberta. I don’t know how wide spread assassin bugs are.
Aww gee! That’s one scary looking bug.
Crazy that someone once lived in that abode in the middle of nowhere.

The assissn bug is scary to other bugs too. There is a lot of rural NM out there and so many surprising finds. Thanks, Resa.
Interesting. A bug that bugs bugs. Love ya!
Super sunflower and dusk shots Tim β¦
Thanks, Julie.
That is one scary face in that second shot. Bringing new meaning to heavenly bodies
I’m happy you noticed the scary face. You needed that one for your trail, also. Thanks, Brian.
