We I got in the car at the office yesterday around 2:00 pm, the thermometer showed 106º on the pavement. The temp went down to 97º after about a mile of driving. We had a thunderstorm in the afternoon that cooled things off a lot.

Thanks, Cindy. Often the kitties go out in the catio in a storm, get wet and come in and try to snuggle. They especially like to do that when there is a storm in the middle of the night. Silver was under the canopy unaffected by the storm.
You’re so welcome Timothy. Oh that’s sooo cute. We have a catio too and my daughter’s cat is in heaven when he visits since he lives in an apartment. I have one that LOVES the water and getting wet😻
I put in a catio several years ago so the kitties could get outside whenever that wanted, but still contained and safe from the greater outdoors. It’s amazing how many cats like to go out and get wet.
they are such a great thing to have. one of mine had a skin disease so I bathed her everyday so she now loves the water.. 🤣
