Love that last shot. Tim. Spunkie-Poo 💋 is his usual gorgeous self (so is Loki).
The coyotes are gorgeous. Does Jake ever bother with them or vice versa?
They dug up a coyote habitat by the lakeshore here, for building expansion. The coyotes are displaced, and have snatched a few small dogs. Big outrage over the coyotes, but I refuse to sign petitions to get rid of them. They were here first!
Jake wants to make friends with the coyotes. The coyotes are curious, but wary as Jake outweighs all three of them. They came within 50 feet of us this morning. They seemed interested when I was talking to them. They followed us around for quite some time.
I’m with you on not signing an anti-coyote petition. It wasn’t their fault they got displaced. Thanks, Resa.
I saw so many weird things in the clouds… a skeleton with a heart above it’s shoulder, a duck-billed pig, and a trump-baby type balloon of someone with a big nose and glasses… maybe skinny former Prez Clinton?
Wow, so many gorgeous shots. I have never seen a pack of coyotes in the wild, they are gorgeous creatures. We use to have one that would come around in NC and we just never left our two small dogs out. You got some great shots. I am 100% with you on the petition. In so many ways, we are the invaders of this earth. There’s a new documentary on TV right now on Netflix which I have not seen, but it’s all about the biggest seed house in the world. Now that they have cloned the dire wolf, which, of course is not a true clone (Moa) because they took DNA from another animal, they are now trying to get approval to clone a dinosaur gene with the giant cassowary. People need to realize that the animals that are here have as much right to be here as we do. These cloning situations are scary to me because we’re not dealing with a real thing and we need to focus on saving the animals that are still alive instead of creating new varieties as if they were trees. Don’t even get me started on how I feel about how neglectful we are when it comes to the life of trees which have a neuron network that is underneath the ground, which allows them to talk to one another. They are living breathing creatures just like we are. Sorry got on a rampage there.
Yea, it really is but it is very jurassic Park like. The next creature they want to clone is a carnivore and would have to be carefully caged in an area of nature where it could not get out. It would be very dangerous. The name of the company is Colosso biosciences. The bird stood about 10 foot tall with its neck outstretched. How do you like to run into that on the beach? Pretty scary. 😱
“Flicker” is my favorite photo, although Jake comes in a close second.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.

Thanks Tim!
I appreciate that you are with me on the coyotes!
People can be stupid when it comes to wildlife.
Stupid and arrogant. Man thinks too much of himself.
Too many think of themselves as gods. A bunch of stupid arrogant bastards.
Agree!
I think that one lone coyote was smiling for you!
They were happy coyotes. Thanks, Becky.
Cats and cayotes , we have those here too. The coyote’s have set up housekeeping in a nearby part. We don’t mind at all ☹️
Coyotes are masters at adption. Thanks, Holly.
park….
Too many coyotes for me!
I saw so many weird things in the clouds… a skeleton with a heart above it’s shoulder, a duck-billed pig, and a trump-baby type balloon of someone with a big nose and glasses… maybe skinny former Prez Clinton?
All you saw were there. Clouds offer so many interesting shapes and things to be found in them. Thanks, Leenda.
Lovely… Lol though, who is the sheep?
I think Mary lost her little lamb, and it took up with the cats. Do you remember Shari Lewis with Lamb Chop, the sock puppet? Thanks, Shay.
I do indeed. I thought she was great. I think you are too with all this wonderful whimsy.
She was great. You have lots of great going yourself.
Love all the shots, especially the coyotes but that one with the red river is a stunner!
Thanks, Dale. The runoff from the rain has been coloring the river.
Amazing and your image is just wow…
Great photos!
Thanks, Dawn.
Mrs. B happened to walk by just as I was reading the post…and immediately fell in love with that shot of “Lamb Chop.”
Sounds like you are going to have to find her one. This one came with a cat magnet blanket. Thanks, Bruce.
Always the most beautiful photos. Does Jake go by the coyotes?
They walk by each other with the coyotes keeping a safe distance (30 to 50 feet). Jake wants to make friends with them. Thanks, Gigi.
That’s why I asked, since Jake seems like such a sweet and friendly dog.
Jake wants to make friends with everyone.
explosive pics, Tim. almost like fireworks. Wow, those coyotes look healthy! ❣️
The coyotes are fat and happy. Thanks, Cindy.
They are good hunters!!!you’re welcome 😇
That waning crescent moon grows thinner and thinner. I agrees, the coyotes look like they are getting plenty to eat.
You and The Painter have been doing some amazing work on those skies, Tim.
It’s been clear the last few days. Thanks, Lavinia.
Passing storms all day here. Shadows and light.
Clear and cool. We had lught frost this morning.
Wowza… you had a pack of coyotes.
That last photo was gorgeous and so are all the four legged friends.
Thanks, Nancy. We see those three coyotes quite often.
Those shots of the coyotes are amazing! How cool to be out at dawn. Top cloud pics and as always so good seeing your kitties and Jake
It’s literally cool to be out at dawn. Like freezing temps. Thanks, Julie.

Thanks, Joni. Cloning is interesting.
