    • Thanks, Shey. Nice to see you’re back. You’re either out on parole or didn’t get into too much trouble.

      • Oh… I had adventures galore. From a barmaid falling at my feet with a tray of glasses to getting a free flapjack fro getting into an impromptu singalong with a barman, to name but a few, I am glad to come back to get away from them actually.

                  • Ha ha x That van that once careered off the other side of the Edinburgh to Perth dual carriageway, right across the path of the car I was in, flew down the embankment, hit a fence and careered back up again behind the car I was in, before overturning on the road, all in the days before mobile phones, must have been abso crazy for me….

                    • I keep first aid kits in both cars. I also have carried a trauma kit in my car for 20 years without needing to use it. However, I accidentally cut myself working on Tristan’s house a few weeks ago, and the cut was deep. I probably should have gone to the emergency room and gotten stitches, but I didn’t have the time, so I got the trauma kit out of the car and used it to stop the bleeding and wrapped my hand up so I could finish my work on the house. It was a bloody mess, but I managed to clean up all the blood so it wouldn’t freak out the inspector who would be there the next day. I didn’t think it would look good if he wrote in his report that it looked as if someone had been murdered and apparently desposed of. I glued the wound back together when I got home, and it is all healed up now.

                  • Now…. look at that, a fellah afer my own heart when it comes to home first aid repairs with what is available. I’d to do that with a finger here not so long ago. Having a giggle mind you re the murder bit… I could see forensics being brought in !
