The duck is a little charmer, Tim. The GIFs(?) of her and the cottonwood tree are extremely cool. I remember the time when I moved to Albuquerque, and the first time I saw that kind of “cotton streaming.” I was filled with wonder. That sunset is spectacular – great composition. Hugs.
From lonesome ducks to streaming cotton, lots going on here.
Seems to be. It was hot and smokey today. Thanks, Shey.
Welcome. it was the kind of quirkiness I love in a post. And beauty of course.
The cottonwood litter looks like snow!
It does look like snow, but unlike snow, it’s flammable and dangerous as we go into fireworks season. Thanks, Brad.
Wow. I didn’t know it was flammable!
Extremely. It’s like flash paper.
Beautiful sunset pics and love the wind in the trees. Enjoy your week…with Jake and Co. xx
Thanks, Janet.
WOW! to that last photo!
Great clouds last night. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Enjoyed the action shots. Well, as much action as a duck waddling can provide. 🙂
Ducks are awfully cute the way they waddle. Thanks, Brad.
Excellent post and I never can believe the beauty of you sky.
It likes to be beaautiful. Thanks, Gigi.
It does a good job of it.
I hope she finds her companion!
What a scene with the cotton tree. Just as well you’d just returned. Can’t be nice walking out there with cotton blowing!
Gorgeous sunset.
It’s either blowing around or floating around this time of year. It’s hard to avoid it. Thanks, Marina.
Not as pleasant as looking at it.
Now I’m worried about the male mallard.
OMG, what a glorious display my tree is making. Thanks for recording that, Tim! xx
Those skies! And where’s the Mr.? 🦆
I wish I new where Señor Pato is. Thanks, Nancy.
Rose hued skies, ..highlighting dark silhouettes, …that last photo takes your breath away, …💫
Thanks, Penn.
That cotton blowing around is a bit of a worry if there are fires.

When it’s like a huge snowstorm, it’s mesmerizing. Thanks, Teagan.
That looks like a cotton blizzard! I wonder if something happened to the duck’s mate?
The skies are always beautiful over Coralles.
I was wondering about the mate. I haven’t seen the hen in a few days. Thanks, Lavinia.
I hope that ducky finds a new mate!
I haven’t seen her since that photo. Thanks, Brian.
Wow! Lots of cotton for side. Those winds are strong! ‼️
Thanks, Cindy.
Hope nothing has happened to her buddy! Gosh I didn’t know it was flammable …
I haven’t seen either of them lately. Thanks, Julie.
