Cranes flying the Rio Grande to roost at sunset

Cold but cool skies.
Thanks, Brad.
Pretty skies worth shivering a bit to appreciate.
Thanks, Carol.
🎄
Thanks, Gigi.
Geez it’s cold here too! -10C tonight! Snow soon.
Anyway, the cats look just fine in their sunshine basking.
Spunkie-Van-Poogogh’s 💋 art has reached a new height. There’s no stopping him now. The Louvre awaits!
Someone get my tree a blanket! xo
Your tree loves the cold. I’m not fond of it. My joints complain a lot! Thanks Resa.
My joints are not happy!
Shoot my eye out?
Are those real guns?
Have you ever seen “A Christmas Story” the Christmas comedy based on the 1966 book “In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash” by Jean Shepherd? The kid wants a Red Rider BB gun for Christmas. His mom keeps telling him, “You’ll shoot your eye out.” Those are real BB guns on sale at Walmart. It’s the wild west out here. Thank, Resa.
No, I don’t know that movie?
Wild West Walmart.
I doubt you could buy that here.xx
You should see it. It’s hilarious. I doubt you can buy Red Riders there.
I’ll see if it’s in the thousands we can get!
It should be availble this time of year.
Brrrrr… that is cold!
I see you’re getting a BB for shooting stars?!! 😉
Painter and Spunk are in great mood!
Happy December!
I let the stars shoot at each other, but literally and figuratively. I do have old Red Riders that were handed down to me. Have you seen “A Christmas Story”? Thanks, Marina.
I remember the film but haven’t seen it.
It’s fun.
eah, the weather could do wih all round improving…
Or improving all round or all around improving all around. I think I’m being a all around circular. Thanks, Shey.
LOl.
The cranes flying through the orange sunset are glorious…..Spunk Art gets better and better and three kitties together…just gorgeous..
Thanks, Janet.
That is cold! The skies are beautiful from dawn through dusk. The night sky photos are always contemplative. We are heading into a new lunar cycle now, and with these clear skies down your way you should start getting a good view of her. More overcast skies and freezing fog up here today. Not much to see topside except the underside of clouds.
The kitties look nice and comfy.
It got into the high 50s this afternoon. It’s already down to 28. Thanks, Lavinia.
I am pretty darn sure we could never buy Red Riders up here. And that is more than (or is it less than?) chilly out there!
I’m about to bundle up and go for a lunchtime walk. Gotta get the blood circulating!
Thanks, Dale. I have so many old Red Riders that someone handed down to me.
Oh my…
They are stored in a safe. I haven’t looked at them in years. Maybe I should use them for Christmas decorations. What do you think?
I’ve no doubt you’d find a creative way to turn them into Christmas decorations 😉
Cranes flying the Rio Grande is a fantastic shot!!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Pretty skies, especially the last photo. We have a Red Rider!
Good for you. You live in the wild west. Thanks, Nancy.
Hard to one out of this great selection, Tim. But, Sliver, Glenda, Spunk edged it!
Thanks, Inchy.
These cats sure are something.
I so wish I could with them. Can’t help it, love ’em!
Cheers.
They are such characters.
Bless ’em! Cheers.
Another fantastic cranes picture.
Thanks, Robbie.
💖
🙂 I love this time of year… and how I would like to get a red ryder one of these Christmases 😂
You might shoot your eye out! thanks, Randall.
Wow, the actual “carbine” version. Black Bart is gonna get his. Okay, I have to laugh being from my state when I see Ralphie shooting at a metal sign – reminds me immediately of Adam Kinsinger and Kunce making a political ad shooting ARs at metal targets 15 feet away (w/ scopes) and basically shooting their cameraman from the bounce. https://www.shootingnewsweekly.com/gun-nation/mo-senate-candidate-shoots-reporter-with-ar-15-pronounces-it-a-great-day-at-the-range/
…with the safety glasses on top of the head.
He’s lucky he didn’t shoot his eye out.
That’s just the kind of stupid stuff we don’t need. Thanks, Brian.
Glorious skies ..
Thanks, Julie.
