The scenery is very easy on the eyes, and peaceful to look at. I would love to walk right into those scenes! The one with the cranes in the field is a beautiful soft, composition.
We had a little sun at day’s end up here. Lots of clouds lately and I am missing the moon and stars, though nightly cloud cover helps keep the mornings warmer.
Those are Sandhill Cranes. They fly down here from Canada to spend the winter with us in sunny New Mexico. We get a lot of Canadian Geese, also. Thanks, DR.
I had been looking on and off for my old cycling friend Tim for a number of years, and I just stumbled across this blog. It looks like you guys are doing well. Lovely pictures, I think I visited that property once and met Laurie’s parents back in the mid 80s. Karen and I have migrated from Jerome to Durango for ten years, and now ensconced in Dolores, CO.
¡Jose Verde! ¿Qué pasa? I was wondering what happed to you. Are you still riding, and skiing? We are plodding along. Tristan just moved to Germany for her job, so we have her dog and bird now along with all our cats and birds. I just got a 14th-year annerversary notice from Word Press, so you can go back quite a ways to see what we’ve been up to. Dolores looks like a pretty area. Give me a call when you have a chance and we can get caught up.
No. I go out and look at the sky in first thing in the morning. Through the day and in the evening. I get tired of posting sky photos. But no one else seems to get tired of looking at them.
LOL… Okay, so I got today’s flag photo. However, it’s a lot funnier now that I’ve seen this one. Poor flag. Now it has me thinking of a parody of CCR’s “Fortunate Son,” but I can’t cope with being that political, especially online.
Hahaha, even funnier catching up in reverse {very funny comment self-censored out of respect for your readers}. I need to get my mind out of the gutter!
Beautiful skyscapes!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
What a gorgeous dawn and skies in the other images.
Thanks, Brad.
Love the skies! The birds are beautiful colors! ☺️
Thanks, Becky.

I saw the crescent moon this morning. Venus shown through the thin cloudss tonight. Thanks, Lavinia.
I like the calm sky of ‘Dawn’ ; the screechy sky of ‘Limp Sky’ is unsettling —
Maybe the flag is limp because of the screeching sky. It’s rare for the air to be so still and not to have a slight breeze. Thanks, John.
The 3rd picture, are those… flamingos with the colour inverted?

No wind for the flag. But gorgeous colours anyway.
I broke wind as I walked by. The flag was unmoved. Not even a chuckle. Thanks, Dale.
Buahahahaha!! I’ve got more than a chuckle for ya.
Lovely sky colors and the sandhill cranes look very serene.
Thanks, Rebecca.
Gorgeous skies
Thanks, Robbie.
Painter playground, even the flag stands still!
No rest for the painter. Thanks, Marina.
I love those skies! The cranes photo is quite lovely.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours my friend.

It will be picante, yes!

Wonderful!
Thanks, Heidi.
Do you every stop looking at the sky. I suppose you get used to it but wow…amazing.

Never get tired of seeing them. We don’t have anything near what you do.
That’s good, because I don’t get out to do much else right now.
We don’t either. They amaze me.
Stunning skies!
Stunned flag.
Blue herons are blue… gotta love that.
I do!
xx
A a poet to boot. Thanks, Resa.
YES! A poet.
Those dawn photos the nurse loves them, Tim. As I do.
Thanks, Inchy. I’m happy you enjoyed them.

Hugs.
As Søren would say, “Staawp! Stawp it!” thinking about new parodies. Thanks, Teagan.

The sky photos are awesome. The limp flag seems like a metaphor
When you consider what wind does, and how flags react, I would say you are correct. Thanks, JYP.
lol, true
Loaded with colour and beautiful skies …
Thanks, Julie.
