Brilliant. Lovely colours on the ghost pics. Now I can’t get Ghost Riders in the Sky out of head……. well the tune of it to the words of the ghost ducks.
Stunning sunsets you share with us, Tim. A complete joy. Fun to see the ghost ducklings, too. That’s a big brood and their stealth is creatively captured here.
Hi Tim. First of all, sorry for missing your question in this post. It seems that I missed it while scrolling or maybe when I was reading on a small screen.
I was a bit surprised you saw the similarity with the Tegelen vlag 1955. Dis you spend some time in the Netherlands? It’s typical for provinces and municipalities in Belgium and the Netherlands to have a flag, coat of arms or logo. Sometimes it goes back to the medieval times. Tevelen also have one with a black ‘Lion from Gulikse’ in the yellow and red colours. Feel free to check the flag from my hometown, https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlag_van_Geel.
Thanks, Herman. I have not been to the Netherlands, but the image looked like a flag. So I looked up flags and found the 1955 flag from Tegelen. I read that going back to Roman times, the clay found in Tegelen was used to make roof tiles.
I’m always fascinated by stories like this one. I love travelling back in time to see what was happening in the place where you live. It often amazes me to see how smart and resourceful people were in the past.
Red rain… feels like Slayers – Raining Blood. Good jam, great pics.
Thanks, Craig.
The pictures of ghost ducklings is awesome! ephemeral!
Thanks, Becky. I’m surprised I got anything since it was so dark, and I could barely see them.
Wow! Look at that sky that turned out for my tree!
Thanks for all the glorious shots, Tim!
You are welcome, Resa. Your tree threw out a rainbow. It was like a rainbow in the rain.
I love it!
That sunset rainburst… 💋💋💋‼️
Thanks, Leenda.
That first photo is incredible.
Resa’s Tree through a rainbow over your tree. Thanks, Gigi.
Beautiful skies and lovely ducklings!

They are adorably eerie. Thanks, John.

It’s not a bad song to be stuck in your head. You can vary it between ghost riders, ghost chickens, ghost mousies, and ghost ducklings. Thanks, Shey.
And I did. . . . . Ghost chickens seemed the best to me.
Have you seen the video for Ghost Chickens in the Sky? It’s funny.
I am away to look.
Up up and away?
got ya.
Speechless! Painter and paparazzo in heavenly mood!
Painter gone wild. Thanks, Marina.

The Ghost Ducklings rule, Tim. Very cool image they cast here.
They were so cute. Thanks, Bruce.
Tim, all of the sky-scapes are beautiful, especially the last one. However, that rainbow one, it took my breath away.
“I saw a flock of ducklings swim a dark and dusty day…” 😉 Hugs.
Haha! True. Thanks, Teagan.
Fabulous photos!
Thanks, Dawn.

You captured some very, very beautiful images, Tim! The Painter is working overtime these days, especially that first scene with the rainbow.
Love those ducklings! Hope there are no snapping turtles in that ditch.
86 up here yesterday, 68 today at best. That’s what I call a reversal…. 🙂
We do have snapping turtles. 99 yesterday, and a forecast of 91 today. Thanks, Lavinia.

No phones, internet, or social media. Makes you wonder how they managed. 🙀
