I like Oseric Owl with his right and left hand herons. I am looking forward to owl nesting season! I am glad you have a healthy population down there. On rare occasions I see or hear an GHO up here. Less so in recent years.
Crane Airlines got in a number of flights there. Always good to see the Sandias and sky, too.
Beautiful birds in flight. I was worried at first as in the UK, GBH is a crime… “Grievous Bodily Harm”. I am glad to see that all the birds were innocent.
Such beauty and grace.
Thanks, Gigi.
OO for eyes – all lovely to see.
Thanks, Heidi.
Such gorgeous birds. SO graceful
Thanks, Shey.
All superb, but I love the cranes flying…..makes me want yo fly with them:)
Thanks, Janet.
“ Ride like the Wind… To be free again.” So peaceful they are…
Exactly. Thanks, Nancy.
…and a vertical [almost] line, all in wonderful Timlandia!
Thanks, Marina.
I so love that you can capture owls any time you want. I never even see them here!
It is nice to find the owls so easily. Thanks, Dale.
I bet!! 🦉💞

I love the lavender cast to that first photo. (I started to type “painting”!)
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.

The GBH does have some BH on his left wing. Thanks, Geoff.
That GHO has been bookended by those GBHs – “Nobody puts baby in the corner”
They certainly don’t mess with each other. Thanks, Brian.
Such beautiful pictures of the birds and scenery!
Thanks, Becky.
RE: Someone does Ride Like The Wind better than Christopher Cross. Forgot where I saw it.
Thanks, Caitlin.
How can you recognize the owl? Is it in the expression?
It’s the location. Nora Owl is on the nest and Osric Owl is keeping watch over her on the nest. Thanks, Resa.
AAHHH!!! Cool!
The light is lovely in your crane shots … I have never heard of an osceric owl before
Oseric is the name we gave the owl, He a Great Horned Owl. Thanks, Julie.
Whoops .. a gorgeous great horned owl!
