To be honest with you, I don’t know who any of those characters are, so you could name any name and I’d be good with it. Cosmic interference messes with my memory a lot these days.
I’d heard of the X-Files but never saw it. I had some young staff members several years ago who loved Seinfeld. They we quoting lines from the show all the time. They would also do hard core parkour in the office. I think that was from The Office. I have never seen any of those shows. Although I have seen parts of Breaking Bad and In Plain Sight because Bruce and other friends had stand-in parts in those shows.
Haha! And… good question. I know that my mother was beyond pissed when Days of Our Lives was taken off network TV and moved to some streaming service she does not have…
When I was struck by a mysterious ailment when I was 8 years old, I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t go to school, and both my parents worked, so I was left with Mrs Hankenson who had a Shetland Pony farm up the road from us. She would have soap operas on in the afternoons. I thought they were pretty weird, but they were a distraction from the pain all the same. Since I had a hard time sleeping during that time, I got to watch late night TV. My favorite was Johnny Carson. I think JC had a lot of influence on twisting my mind into being even more of weirdo in the eyes of my cohorts back then.
After a year of having the fluids drained from my knees, and specialists trying to figure out the problem, they performed radical surgery on both knees when I was 9. Then I had to go through two years of physical therapy after the surgery. I was in the hospital for two weeks and in straight casts on both legs for three months in 1968. Today it would be arthroscopic day surgery to deal with the problem.
The cranes are as beautiful as always, and I love that last shot. Looks like a magical land on the other side of that notch, and a good setting for story.
