I love eclipse reflections! They are an indication that the “big event” is now limited to the sky but affects virtually everything even on earth. Several years ago during a partial eclipse I was photographing birds in my backyard. When I started editing I asked myself, “what is wrong with all the bokeh?” Bokeh reflects the appearance of the eclipse as well. That was the day I learned that. 😂 Eclipses are fun. 🙂
My son and I both at the same time noticed the shadows on his sidewalk, and shortly thereafter saw the same caused by the sunlight coming through the sheer curtains. Interesting day for sure. The less intense light during an eclipse always provides an interesting glimpse of things “not quite right”. Your gate shot is most impressive…

It’s no wonder people think it’s the end of the world coming during eclipses. Eclipses are loads of fun. Thanks, Susan.
I learned a new word here today – bokeh!
Pretty photo specific word.

I photographed the eclipse from start to end. We were in the path and got the perfect ring of fire. Thanks, Maj and Sher.
Those are all very beautiful images, Tim. The eclipse pattern is particularly interesting. Nice catch!
Thanks, Lavinia.
All so beautiful Tim. And I love that eclipse reflection, I really had to look at it closely. Wonderful!

Such beautiful blues in those skies. But whoa! Those reflections on the gate are so cool! You do have an eye for finding the cool image.
Thanks, Dale.
From Dawn, Sunrise to Sunset… bliss but your capture of the reflection on the gate is stunning!
Thanks, Marina.
All of these are amazing but the eclipse reflected on the gate is surreal. 🙌🏽
It is surreal. Thanks, Cindy.

Now that is a rare moment in time shot with the gate reflection. I would have never guessed what produced that without your assist. Very nice.
Vary rare indeed. Thanks, Brian.
