Happy 4th of July. Today is Glenda’s and Gwendolyn’s birthday. They are two years old.

Happy 4rth of July. This is as close to getting fireworks as I’m going to get tonight.

The moon manage to shine through the cloud cover last night. No moon tonight.

    Love that “fireworks” photo. And you’ve just reminded me. On my way home from friends’ BBQ, I was entranced by the beauty of the moon and how low it was. With the bridge the image was so beautiful – oh how I wished I was not on a highway!

    • Happy belated birthday, G&G. Beautiful girls, Tim. Your fireworks photo was the closest display for me too. Wasn’t sure how the doggies would react to the noise & flashes. Lucky, we made a party for them inside, cheering with treats at the celebrating outside. They were loving it. No hiding or howling. 📚🎶 Christine

      • Thanks, Christine. The city had its full fireworks display. We watched through the trees. I didn’t feel like walking out to the river to watch the fireworks and photograph them. Our kitties don’t react to the booming and banging from the fireworks.

  23. We have been noticing the sliver moon. It was also showing up in some fireworks pictures

    • Thanks, Nancy. The city’s fireworks show was big and noisy, but I didn’t feel like walking out to the river where I could see it clearly.

  28. Happy birthday to … well, let’s go with just G because I am unable to tell them apart ha. We had plenty of fireworks around us. Guessing most people were ready to cut lose as they were canceled the previous years.

      • I love the Tour de France, but I don’t have a TV so I can’t watch it. I have not had time to follow it on the web. When I was racing bicycles, I followed the Giro de Italia, the Tour de France, and the Vuelta a España. But not so much the last several years. Do you follow the Tour?

      • Ah, too bad you don’t have of TV to follow the Tour de France. Yes I watch the beautiful Tour in the heat wave in France
