How To, Loki, Flowers

I irrigated on Thursday. A gopher hole created an unwanted lake that was draining water that the plants needed. After 30 minutes of trying to plug the hole where it was flowing out of the ground, which I knew wouldn’t work, I finally found two holes that were the source and plugged them. Not before getting a significant-sized lake. The whole thing reminded me of how the Salton Sea was created.

Loki was practicing his cat tree ballet.

  1. Another great post, Tim! An arty dancing cat, beautiful flowers and a video with a song from an interesting obscure musician…

      • It looks like he prefers chasing sparrows in the garden… Guess I have to pick up my guitar skills again…

  2. Loki’s dancing moves are realy artistic. You did a good job reparing the water leek, If not, Amerika would have had a new swamp 🙂

  3. How to turn irrigation to fun!!!! Love the Salton Sea! …and Loki, and the elegant blooms and that painting your inspired painter provided. Happy Special Sunday! 🍾🥂🌟

  4. Musical how to videos are the best. Informative and entertaining! Love the guitar and vocals in this video.
Looking at the series of Loki, I had “do the Loki-motion” in my head.
Irises are my favorite flower – that photo is stunning!

  5. That is some sea that little gopher created! I have seen here during long hard rains that drop a lot of water quickly on already saturated ground, gopher holes can spout water like mini artesian wells. I enjoyed your video, Tim, and Loki, flowers and sunset.

  6. Sandy: Carl I want you to kill ll the gophers on Tim’s land
Carl: Correct me if I’m wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers they’ll lock me up and throw away the key.
Sandy: Not golfers,, you great fool, Gophers. The little brown furry rodents
Carl: We can do that. We don’t even need a reason much less one that caused the unwanted lake.

    • Hahahaha! People with mix them and call them “golphers”. The owls need to work a little harder at catching gophers. Thanks, Brian.

  7. Loki!!!!!
I had to steal the Iris! I’m quite torn about painting the Iris in the gown. I was convinced to go with purple and lavender…. until I saw the one here. Sigh!

  8. Your sweet cat reminds me of my Ollie that died about 7 years ago, he was the sweetest cat I have ever known. He died in his sleep with his arms folded like he always went to sleep. I miss him.
