Pre-dawn

Venus

Tuumbleweeds hardened
Walking levees at twilight
Tickles Jake’s fancy

Dawn

Puddles on the paths

Still dawn
Spunk

Almost sunset
With the rains comes the need to repair the culvert that we use to drive over the drainage ditch. I went into my one-man chain gang mode and filled in the holes caused by the rainwater ponding on the culvert. I paused to take a few photos as the sun was setting.

Sunset

My dear friend, Tim. You are the last post that I will look at tonight. What a wonderful way to say goodnight. Thank you for giving me beauty for a night of rest. See you tomorrow!
Thanks for the wonderful comment, Rebecca. We got more rain tonight. Have a great evening.
Lovely skies.
Thanks, Shey.
The picture of Venus reminds me of an opening scene to a horror movie lol. Beautiful!
Spunk sure knows how to sit pretty.
My town still is fixing all the drainage because of the horrible flooding we would get. Lol one year, someone was kayaking in the mall’s parking lot because the water was so high!
The one part of town was built on a marsh so the mall was slowly sinking.
🤣🤣🤣
Great pictures of Jake and tumbleweeds.
So when you go to the mall, you get a sinking feeling? Where there’s water, there’s kayaks. Thanks, Becky.
That’s a good one!☺️
I love the Spunk pose. “Yaaaaaasssssss??)
He had a sweet moment. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Gorgeous skies and collection Tim.
Thanks, Brad.
Love that picture of Spunk!
Thanks, Dawn.
Love the color and beauty and the especially sunset whale.
>
Thanks, LS.
Spunk’s portrait is great, Tim. You wonder what that picture’s subject was thinking upon in that candid moment…
He was thinking about doing something about the pesky paparazzi. Thanks, Bruce.
Spectacular post, Tim!
My tree and Spunkie -Poo 💋 are marvellous.
The pics and TimKu are fab.
I think the tumbleweeds are tickling Jake’s fancy, because he’s … tinkling theirs! xx
Hahahaha! I think he’s perromasachista getting his fancy scratched by those tumblweeds. Thanks, Resa.
LOL!
You live in a very beautiful land, Tim. That pink mushroom cloud in the last photo is particularly beautiful. Your skies always remind me of the children’s story of Great Grandpa Bunny Bunny.
I don’t know that story. Thanks, Lavinia.
This is the exact book I had as a child.

Never saw that book.
We had a number of those little Golden Books in the house.
Your skies are always the best! And Spunk looking so very handsome
Thanks, Julie.
