I finally got caught up with some blogging, but it took me until 06:00hrs, then went to bed. 07:00hrs, Carer Ejaz rang the bell and I had to struggle with the knee pain to unlock the door. He Phorpain gelled the legs and ankles and issued the medications. Got me back in bed, placing the painkiller and out some spring water, and the mobile phone near the bed for me. Bless him, he’s a good lad. Then at 08:20hrs I was woken and had to get painfully up again to answer the landline phone. Hospital, they are sending a nurse on the first of November to take Blood Count and give me a Covid and flu jab. Amazing! Har-har!
The Doc at the hospital told me keep the legs rested, and warned that it may take a while for the fractures to heel.
I hope you are doing alright?
Thanks. 👍🏻🌺
Will do, thanks Tim.
Just got an appointment with the Fracture Clinic through the post, mate, for Wed 22 October. I told Carer Ejaz and put it on the Google calendar – Hahaha! I always put them on, but on, either the wrong month or date or time. Or forget to look. Can you recall me missing the Bank Manager visit? I wasn’t as bad as I am know with the confusion and memory. He was a little offhand when I cancelled the second appointment when I went in hospital to have the catheter fitted at short notice. Now he always asks me to take a Carer with me, which costs me a fortune. Har-har!
Next? I’m in a High-Mood-Horis at this moment and it’s great being in a Sod-them-all-mood. Wish I could get some tablets to take to bring Horis on when needed.
I’m waffling… sorry, but I can see in my mind I’m getting the ‘You Dare’ look from Marble! Hahaha!
Cheers mate. Thanks.
When the Social heard I had to be resuscitated, someone came next day to see me from Age UK. Thet are arranging someone to help my sort out the financial mess I’m in. He or she will have a hell of a job on, Tim. Hehe! High Horis is still with me, no reason, but I’d soo glad he is. Now I’ve said that, Deep Dank Depressioning Darius is expected. Hehe!
No doubt about the value of Carer Ejaz, Tim. He seemed a little down on his last call. I’ll wheedle the problem out of him on the next call, see if I can cheer him up a tad. Thanks, Tim.
I knew nothing about it, I can’t even remember leaving the bed let alone ward. I was in the Geriatrics at the time. A Doctor came to my bed the next day and said how entertaining I was with my quips??? And explained about the cardiac failing, and I shall be called to the renal unit as soon as the wrist and knee heals up. I admit it stunned me at first hearing about it.
But then I got involved with the ward bully. The nurse who he was threatening came to thank me and explain that the man could not help himself? I mentioned that I’ve lost track of my HC readings. As I was leaving that ward, I was in a wheelchair waiting for the paperwork, and the nurse gave me a printout of all the test results taken while I was in there, and worked out an average for each one, and am trying yo get in in todays blog. How damned kind was that? Bless her muchly. ❤ The BP is back to normal, great. The blood-sugar and Oxygen levels are getting better each time I’ve taken them since. Wunderbar (Spell checker gave me Wonderbra), Tim.
I’m all behind with the blogging again. Tsk!
Five new appointment have been made since getting home. Renal, Fracture Clinic, Dentist and the Neuropathic Unit. I admit worrying about forgetting about them, but Carer Ejaz keeps me on the ball.
I with I had a cat again, Warden Deana tells me I can have a goldfish or budgerigar – not sure if she was joking or not. Hahaha! But no cats or dogs. Humph!
Cheers Tim, all the best to the clan. Thanks.
A cat would do you so much good. A cat could lie on you, purr, and help your fractures heal faster, for example. Goldfish are boring in my opinion.
Cyril and Lady are so missed, it still hurts. Ladies gentleness, and Cyril’s loud shuddering purring as he laid on my chest, oh, and he’d get up and go to the kitchen to await his breakfast, almost demanding his food! Oh, Cyril and Lady were living medications. I’m swelling up now. Bless them and you for understanding, mate.
I agree about the goldfish.
Cheers.
A beautiful set of photos, Tim! U Bunny looks like he is faced with a prickly decision. I especially love that growing crescent moon. I caught a glimpse of her tonight.
We stopped by Laurie’s parents on the way home from UNM. Otherwise, I would have been able to photograph the moon because of the trees. Thanks, Lavinia.
Together we stand.
That we do. Thanks, Brad.
Loki & Jake, the moon and the brave bunny, all marvellous.
Thanks, Inchy.

Hang in there. It takes longer to heal as you age.
Will do, thanks Tim.

It’s tough to live in a ball of confusion. It’s a good thing you have some carers to help you unwind the ball.
