Dawn

Tres patos amigos

A sad beaver at dawn. He had to crawl in the shallow water.

Sunrise over Sandias

Loki was doing hammock yoga

“A penny for your thoughts, Jake!”

“Huh? Uh, uh? Oh! I don’t have no stinking thoughts!

“I’ll give you my thoughts for a buck, Paparazzo!” “Hmmm! I don’t think so, Spunk! I know what you’re thinking.”

Dusk

What bird is at the top of the very first pic?
Boy… that Spunk, he gots attitude!
Love your pics, Tim.
It’s most likely a blue grosbeak, but I’m not sure. Spunk has catitude! Thanks, Dale.
Still. Very cool. Right! Catitude!
So much beauty in those skies and personality in those precious animals. Thanks for sharing and a lovely evening to you.
Thanks for dropping by, Michele.
Love to Jake whether his thoughts are stinking or not…. Thanks for the laugh and the fabulous shots.
I’m happy you got a laugh out of it. Thanks, Shey.
I did. Thank you.
Your dawn is pure inspiration… for yoga, cloud nostalgia [Jake], listening to music [Spunk] and joy for the rest of us!
Thanks, Marina.
The Rio Grande and Sandia mtn photos are absolutely stunning, Tim. I also like the three amigos a lot. Gorgeous sky colors, clouds. Sorry the water is so low.
Thanks, Jet.
Good morning, Tim. What a wondrous variety of colors in these cloud-scapes. Poor beaver. It makes an interesting composition for your photo, especially with the reflections, but the river is unexpectedly low. I guess there hasn’t been as much rain there as the weather maps suggest.
Love Loki’s yoga! The set-up of “wall steps” (not sure what to call it) looks nice. Hugs.
The river is super low. We haven’t had irrigation water for over two months. So it’s super dry. We got a 1/10 inch of rain on the 1st, and that’s it so far this month. I’m having a really hard time keeping trees and plants alive without irrigation.
I installed those kitty stairs to replace the other kitty stairs I had built out of scrap mohagany years ago. Belafante wanted to chew on the mohagany steps, but mohagany is toxic to birds, so I replaced them with the current steps. Thanks, Teagan.
Huh… I had no idea about the mohagany.
We’ve had maybe 3 gully washers, but they were quick. I’m pretty sure we haven’t had any more than the amount you mentioned. Meanwhile poor Ruidoso gets clobbered.
I’d like to do some kitty steps, but Velma and Daphne wrestle so much (and tend to land on their backs, not their feet!) that I won’t risk it.
Loki doing hammock yoga gave me a giggle. Jake is thinking about a treat. Love those skies! Incredible!
I’m happy you got a giggle. Thanks, Nancy.
Wonderful photos Tim. The third image is especially beautiful.
Thanks, Brad.
Good ole Jake! He sounds like a student.
Jake is a perfect student. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. 😊
Gorgeous sky photos! Your cats always look like they’re “living the life”. 🙂
They certainly are. Thanks, Rebecca.
A beautiful dawn all around, thanks Tim.
I adore the beavers. Where dot hey go when it’s really dry?
Spunkie-Poo 💋 in the perfect pose!
I don’t know what they do without water. Thanks, Resa.
Okay! x
Such skies!
Thanks, Geoff.
Spunk is always thinking…
The photos are beautiful, Tim!
Thanks, Lavinia. Spunk is always thinking up mischief.
Hmm, any chance Loki is a certified hammock yoga instructor – I need to find a way to keep fit during these down weeks and that just might work for me.
Loki says, “Put your little foot, put your little foot, put your little foot right there…” Thanks, Brian.
Kudos to the “Tres patos amigos” shot ~ brilliant 😊
They were awfully cute. Thanks, Randall.
Loki looks very adept at kitty yoga! As always great shots!
He is. Thanks, Julie.
