When we first got Jake, some of the cats would not eat in the kitchen because of Jake. Laurie fed them in the bathroom. Now they all eat in the kitchen since they have gotten used to Jake; however, not snacks in the bathroom have become a kitty right, and so they have stand-offs over Greenies. The cheese stand-offs and jugging are in the kitchen. Anyway, what was meant to be temporary accommodations for the kitties has become a daily demand. Thanks, Lavinia.
Spunk wears a pheromone collar. It’s the only thing we have found that calms him down. The collars are supposed to work for a month. I have to change them on Spunk every two weeks. At the end of two weeks he starts tearring things up and attacking the other cats. Spunk is a wild cat.
He provides a lot of entertainment and protects from evil spirits by sacrificing his tails and ears every night and pacing where they ward off evil spirits.
Raven and Ruger will defend their Greenies with every fiber of their being – those are cherished more than Golums ring, so I can understand the kitty standoff.
