Colors Before The Storm

Pre-dawn

The weather forecast is for cold weather to set in on Halloween. All the yellows and oranges will turn brown if we get a hard frost.

  1. Throughout the week, a chance of rain on Sat – first since May – has been climbing. I checked tonight and it’s suddenly gone (it was 66% a few hours ago). Drats!!

I have no sympathy for all the east coasters who are facing a SoCal 80° Halloween.

  2. Fantastic photos! Our temperatures have dropped significantly. It was 41 degrees this morning. My tomato plants look very droopy, so I don’t expect them to last much longer.

    • We’ve had a couple of mild frosts, but with the forecast for 28 tomorrow night, we might get down to 20. Thanks, Dawn.

  3. Gorgeous shots, Tim!

That small orange bush looks like a burning bush. Stunning!

Time to get the winter clothes out of moth balls. Ahh, there’s nothing like walking around smelling like moths balls; social distancing at its easiest.

    xo

  4. You got all my favorite things in there, Tim. Dark backgrounds, fall colors, Sandias and river. We have had a couple of 29 degree mornings, but are solidly back in cold rain now.
